    update;
Either I,m going nuts, or Amex is.
Just done as you said, unsynced both cards successfully.
resynced mine ok with same aol.
tried resyncing OH, got same message as the very first time, even though I used my Gmail for OH

Your account is already synced so you can start exploring and unlocking exclusive Cardmember specials on Foursquare! To contact customer service, please call the number on the back of your Card.
I think it might be easier just to give up, it,s too much hassle. If this is the hassle of syncing, god knows what,s in store, when using them.

How can it already be synced when I,ve just unsynced them.
thanks for help guys, much appreciated.
Hi Guys, It,s the pain again.
    Managed to sync OH,s card.
Got e-mail from Amex telling me it was not synced as other guy said it was, so went through whole rigmarole again, and ok, whether it checks in is another thing.
    NOW THEN;;;Colons rus:rotfl:
Thought I would try MBNA-Amex out of curiousity, and It,synced ok
    to a new 4 square a/c .
Anyone else tried it, I know someone asked about Mbna.
I received no e-mail from them, just synced it.
Whether that checks in is also debateable
  • ...what? Seriously, you'd probably have sorted this problem already if people could work out what you're asking in the first place.

I'm assuming you don't type with "one finger" when emailing Amex or at work?

Now then rus, don,t get your knickers in a twist.I use 2 fingers for people I don,t like.I notice that we have been on this site the same length of time, 2009, I,ve done a lot of 1 finger typing to get my stars', jack of all trades, master of none.
You haven,t mentioned MBNA I notice, or have you forgotten that.#262
I said I would check it out and return
Only you seem to not be able to read my posts. You told me not to take heed of Amex, and follow your advice, which, didn,t workThey had no bother reading my 1 finger job.And I don,t work retired.70
Perhaps one doth protest too much.Ignorance is Bliss, tis Folly to be wise.
Do you know that every 2 in 1 of us are schitzos'

Any idea how long it takes for Amex additiona card application to be processed? I have applied online via My online account and it said they will get back to me.

    Thanks

I've applied for 3 so far and they all had to get back to me. It doesn't require a credit check as far as I can see because the details it asks of the second card holder are minimal. So that's normal.

Two of my cards came within 5 working days (and that was the first I heard of them being accepted), and I only just applied for the third.

It depends on what type of card it was.

The charge cards require a signature as the additional is agreeing to joint liability.

Same here. Applied on Friday night for 2 more supplementary cards and they said they would get back to me. was waiting for a email to say a message was waiting for me, but nothing came. Then both cards arrived (seperately) in the post today!

That makes a total of five cards available for the promotion!!!!!

Have just loaded a Starbucks card with £20 for the price of £10 with the cashback as I was on my own and wouldn't have been able to spend £10 by myself. So will now head back for another £30 worth once the pin no's come for the other 2 cards.

No need to wait; you can find out the PINs online. Activate them and add them to an Amex online account and go to View PIN. One of the thinks I like about Amex :).
