Oh the magnet story! That one is right up there in the MSE Wall of Fame. I actually cried laughing at that one - there were some hilarious replies :rotfl:

Have you got a Link? :)
  • Just read this. cant believe someone would make up this stuff for a reaction!
    Just about to give up!
  • Judging by your name, I'll go out on a limb and guess that there was likely a degree of racism involved. Either that or simply mistaken identity, or a 3rd scenario - You have been before and acted out.

I believe there was an element of racism involved. The security guard was Asian and so was the manager, evidently the threat of a white customer entering their store was enough to elicit this response.

Different troll I think, this is the guy who lets it go on for a couple of pages and then suggests that Tesco is staffed entirely by Asians and he's being discriminated against for being white.

    IIRC :)

Are you a mind reader

    Hmmm...

Now did the OP read the responses and post for a wind up?

Or not read the responses and just carry blithely on with the next point in his anti Tesco arguement? :rotfl:

  • Rankan some ideas for your next thread.

Aliens abducted me in the sweets isle.

I wanted to pay but they would only except paypal at the till.

I was locked in the store all weekend on purpose.

I bought some meat and when I got home there was a leprechaun in it.

The store re-arranged the Tesco logo outside to Coset to fool me into using their store.

I'm a security guard at a large Tesco and today a bloke tried to come in to the store with three staffies. I stopped him coming in, we can't be having dogs where there's food, except those blind dogs of course, we feel sorry cos they've gone blind so we let those ones in.
Anyways, the dogs got a bit excitable and pulled him over and the bloke ended up on the floor outside.
He's always trying it on, bringing the dogs inside with him and we've had to ban him.:D

I ran a search for it and the actual thread didn't come up (just references to it). Not sure if it was deleted?

HELP! - Tesco's security won't let me out of the store.

I scanned my tesco club card to use a self-scanning device, and now I'm apparently an ideal shopper, and they won't let me leave.

I can't live on Costa Coffee and panini sandwiches. There must be CCTV to support my claim.
