Another £1.72 so new total is £47.55/£4808. I have just started using the 'save the change' function from Lloyds TSB so hopefully that should help me pay off this debt. Every penny helps :j
I recently started using this too...it soon adds up and you don't notice it missing!! :)

Hi all, made my first payment today

    #80 £220

Entered it in the snowball calculator and it knocked a month off my DFD. Aslo rejigged budget and put extra payments into snowball calculator and another month gone. Hope it carries on at this rate :D

    Merry christmas everyone :xmassmile
I've done the same and with Christmas overtime wages next month I can knock an extra 4 months off! I love the snowball calculator :)

  • HI all have made a small payment of £3 so new total is 518.50/10,513.50 Number 47 (sorry can not make figure bigger for some reason) normall payment goes out tomorrow so hopefully total owing will drop a bit more although i have realised i will have to pay more than my target as forgot this does not include intrest payments so i may not make it to be debt free by the end of 2013
  • Morning all another small payment of £5 so £474/£2863 I dont think this is a true sum as ive added on £250 as extras for christmas and as ive gone nowhere near that it must be less I think ive only added £25 school uniform on so will check end of month and recalculate for the year starting...
    2 week 5:2=5.5lb off.
  • Good Morning All

I have just come across this thread, and deffo think this will help me this year to get my debt under £20k, this will be a major acheivement, anything else will be a bonus, so could i please set my 2013 target at £7500 to clear, i will update as my DD's are out.

Many Thanks for all your future help and inspiration.

    Jan 2025 £26561.43/£0. I want to clear £9000 this year (2025)
  • Morning All

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas.

No updates from me as yet, eagerly awaiting payday on the 31st!
I have made a spreadsheet though with my debt free plan to keep up the momentum!

I have also switched my mobile contract and pet insurance, lower tarriffs and Quidco cashback £££££!

Feeling positive about the challenge :T
Aiming to be debt free by Dec 2013
