  • Sorry to ask but Lloyds tsb 'save the change' function. What is this? Where do I find it? How do I use it?

It's quite a good idea (bit like the virtual sealed pot challenge where you round down your account to a savings account every week) - everytime you use your debit card, the amount will be rounded up to the next £ and the money put into a savings account

So ... if your shopping came to £21.56 then you'd have £22 deducted from your account and £0.44 would go to the savings account.

Really depends on how often you use your debit card (and what for - as if you're like me and it's for fuel - I always round up to the nearest £ when filling anyway!) as to whether it's worthwhile or not

So ..... money transferred to various pots / bills paid and OD has reduced by £38 :)

    #38
    £45 / £900 = 5.00%

Unlikely to change much until next payday - which is the end of January  I don't have very much spare in my SOA so this will be reducing very slowly!

Need to look at ways of getting more money in ....
