We've exchanged! Let the stress of moving begin! :jExcuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard0

Anyone got any idea why Bovis would offer the full market value for OH's house and then immediately put it on the market at 10% less than that?

Because they've already received the extra 10% in the price you paid for the new house probably!
Good luck for completion day and enjoy your new home!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Went for my 'home demonstration' today and found about 7 men laying carpets. I'm assured it will all be finished by tomorrow! :rotfl:Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard0

We're in, settled, and then left again for xmas lol (both went back to separate parents).
Dropped my phone during the move so that's now going off for repair (still under warranty, phew)
Made a snagging list but the only major thing is the washing machine which isn't level probably so is making horrendous noises. But then I don't mind as it means my mum can do all my washing for now
So all in all a successful move, all done in 6 weeks :TExcuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard0 -

In calculating the p/ex price. Bovis factored in the price you were paying for the new property. Developers like high selling prices to be recorded at the Land Registry. All smoke and mirrors.
Bovis now want to cash in the property asap. As it's costing them interest which is reducing their profit margin.0 -
Just an update on this. The property we part exchanged has now been sold on and appeared on zoopla.
Bovis gave us £95k (which is the probable open market price so we were very happy with that). They've sold it on for £78,500. Result! :rotfl:Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard0
