WHY has he waited 5 days to even think about this???
some people don't use their computers every day.
Surely the point of BIN is so you don't have to wait for an auction to finish..
correct - you don't have to wait for the auction to end. by using buy it now, you secure your item. not sure it entitles you to anything else though does it?

Actually, it entitles you to expect to receive the item within a reasonable time frame. Paypal states that the seller must send the item out within 7 days (not working days) to be protected. Ebay gives the buyer 10 days within which to RECEIVE the item. Tomorrow is day 10. I bet I don't receive it. He's already lost paypal protection. Tomorrow, I will start a NPS dispute.

As previously stated, this seller used his computer to leave feedback for another seller AFTER receiving my initial message regarding this item, yet chose to ignore me. Keep trying to defend him. It seems you think it's ok to send when you feel like it and without any communication with the buyer.

Well he has relisted more of the same item within this time so obviously has been on his computer. And maybe 'Buy It Now' should be retitled 'Pay for It Now and Get It Whenever I can be Bothered to Send It'.
  • Oops - read wrong OP.

(Sorry, the message he sent to me last night doesn't count, as I had to message him twice to get even that from him.)
so lets see if i've got this straight - you had to send 2 (yes 2  ) emails to get 1 back?

Stuart P I do not think you are being helpful to the op by coming out with utter dribble. Maybe you would be more useful to your ebay buyers by sending out their item then arguing with the op. :p

i wasn't stating that your seller may not use their computer every day - my reply above was for another user (jasmineswhiskers) on page 1 who had not any emails from their seller

    arguing?? :rotfl:

nope - just amazed at how craggy folk get when 1 (yes 1) of the emails they sent, did not get a reply.

Craggy? I do love it when people read emotion into words typed on a screen. I'm as cool as a cucumber - so very far away from "craggy". I also like the way you try to simply the issue and make me look petty. It's not just a case of the seller not replying to 1 (yes 1) of my emails. It's the complete lack of communication from the seller coupled with the fact that he feels he can post whenever he wants to, rather than within paypal's designated time frame and Ebay's time frame.

Not to worry, Stuart. Leave us your Ebay ID and we'll all remember not to buy from you, as you obviously don't seem to understand the meaning of "customer service" and feel that you have the right to send out items whenever you feel like it, ignoring emails from your buyers when it suits you.

the above would be oh-so true - except that 2900 unique customers have left me 100% positive feedback & not 1 negative - so unfortunately for you, i do understand the meaning 'customer service'.

perhaps someone needs to undertand the meanings of 'patience' & 'chillout'
