So, they don't have any ground to sue me in a court, do they?
Please stop worrying and start ignoring them, and their debt collector letters that will follow as well. You do not even have a real parking ticket, it's just a piece of rubbish. Like all the other posters on this board, you have a fake PCN.
As long as it's not a company/hire/lease car then you can just ignore it and ignore the other letters that will arrive. The letters are easy to ignore and laugh at, when they arrive at the address of someone who knows it's all hogwash and not a real parking ticket at all.
The whole scam of fake PCNs relies firstly on people's ignorance of the fact that a random private company can't fine anyone, and secondly on their natural fear of parking tickets and the escalating costs/bailiff scenario. So PPCs copy the look of a real parking ticket and - hey presto! - the cash rolls in from victims who know no better.
There is no fine, no CCJ, no bailiff, no debt, no effect on credit rating, no Court, no repercussions at all.
Tick off the letters here.
Watchdog clip with expert Solicitor's opinion (which is still valid except for the one thing that the PPC can now write to the registered keeper if no driver known) here.
Barrister's opinion - read the answer at the bottom, it's very clear! - here.
Just play snap with the threatograms from debt collectors - simply choose to ignore and laugh at the scammer and their attempt to extort money. It's like deleting obvious phishing emails from your 'Bank'; it's a very similar con based on impersonation of authority.
HTH and welcome to the club - we've all been there, done that (ignore option) with a few fake PCNs and a shedload of debt collector letters!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

My daughter got sent one of these pieces of toilet paper a few weeks ago, luckily her old fella reads these pages and knew it was worthless and could say not to send her hard earned in HM Forces money to these rogues.
She's had the second letter, bizarrely says she hasn't paid in the 14 days, but she can still pay £75 if she calls with her card details in the next 28 days. What happened to their threat about not paying in 14 days meant it would go up to £95? They are all over the place, can't even lie logically!
Seriously though, thanks to everyone who has posted previously on the subject. Your advice got us 'wised up'0 -
hi please note i have today received the letter advising that i need to pay the two fines ?
Please can any one advise me to what I should do as the tickets where issued in Dec 2012 we are now in May 2013 and I am now without a job0 -
How many times are you going to post this; I've read it 4 times on 3 separate threads!
Please either use your original thread; if you can't find that, then it's best to start a new one rather than picking randoms and blazing away. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Is there something wrong here, or are you trying to wind us all up. People give of their time and their advice freely and don't need to be bogged down reading multiple versions of the same post across many different threads.
Did you not read my post #36 immediately after your previous multiple and just before you re-typed the same thing yet again.

I have the same letter from 24 aug 2013 from g24 ltd. did everything go okay and should I just ignore it?0

You should really start you own thread to get specific advice but basically the advice has changed - appeal and get a POPLA code. Then spank them at POPLA costing them £27 + VAT. Oh, G24 are still scammers through and through. Good chap that SodG240

Why would you waste time reading such an ancient old thread full of old advice?
In this case the advice is out of date and wrong. When you land on a random old thread after Googling a subject, don't actually read it if it's old! One click takes you to the current threads on any forum board and in this case my signature tells you where to click if you missed the blue 'breadcrumb trail' link above.
