Pollycat, please read my post in its entirety, I said it wasn't travel related but I thought the disabling of my account was extreme, there are hundreds of posts on TA that are not travel related.
I suggest you read your post in its entirety.
All because I posted PHILLIP SCHOFIELD FOR PRIME MINISTER !!!!

Whats wrong with that, not holiday related i'll grant you , but its a bit harsh to disable my account for.

Think I'm going to write to the press

Yes, there are lots of posts on TA that are not travel-related - and they also run the risk of being deleted.

If you think it's a bit harsh, then why not contact TA and ask why they deemed your post so bad that it warranted your account disabled?
Ive wrote to the press to support Phillip Schofield, not to complain about TA for goodness sake !!!!
Do you really think that was clear from your first post?
    It wasn't.
You had a rant about TA disabling your account then immediately said you were going to write to the press.
It was not unreasonable to think you were going to write to the press about TA disabling your account, not about Philip Scofield - especially as you say in a later post:
Furthermore this is a "vent" board, and my vent was with TA, it so happens in doing so my thread has gone towards a praise view of Phillip Schoffield, how strange eh?

So you were venting about TA and said you were going to write to the press - how could anyone be psychic enough to know you were going to write to the press about Phillip Scofield?.

Do you really think your thread has gone towards a 'praise view of Phillip Schofield'?

however personal comments about me from you/Meer53 are not acceptable, and uncalled for.

    I suggest you google 'numpty'.
  • You are correct polly it wasn't entirely obvious.
    I have written to TA
Googled numpty ,it isnt an endearing term, and still uncalled for, although I would rather be on the "numpty list" than other lists

    Really?

Numpty. N-U-M-P-T-Y. Numpty. Gentle word. Very gentle word. It feels to me like 'silly billy' or 'you novice!' It means somebody who displays a lack of knowledge or a lack of awareness. I've often heard it used as an endearment - 'oh, you great numpty', meaning, you know, 'you should have done better than that'. 'Silly billy' is the best gloss for it, I think.

    But Hey!
    That is the BBC! :rotfl:
  • BBC.................now theres a set of numpties :rotfl:

OP, you might want to think about altering your username. After all, a second-rate attention-seeking presenter might glance at it under the guise of investigative journalism, fail to register the 'r' then hand it to the prime minister as evidence of predatory wrongdoings. It's amazing how these nonsensical rumours start.

If Schofield was genuinely concerned he should've given the list to the police.

Do you really think that this wasn't a publicity stunt and that what Schofield did was responsible 'journalism' or are you just trolling?
