Help needed-Magistrates Court Order

Hi
I really need some advice for my partner, with anyone who might have had a similar experience when it comes to an unfair parking fine.
He has just received a Magistrates Court Order which as a consequence of a non payment of a fine says we will be visited by Baliffs to levy distress and remove goods for sale by public auction, if the fine is not paid in 7 days.
Just to give you a bit of background we lived in a flat which was part of a private block in Liverpool with our own private parking space. When my partner came home from work one night someone had parked in our space. He then put a note on that car asking for it to be moved and parked in the refuge space and put a sign on his windscreen explaining why. This was just after 1am and he then left for work again the next morning at 8am. Within these few hours a notice had been put on the car saying he had to pay £135 beacuse of parking in this space.
After looking into it on MSE we decided to take the militant approach and ignore the letters. We recently moved to London and have started to receive the letters again after a year. The most recent one which arrived today is now saying the fine has mysteriously gone up to £605! and baliffs will be coming round.
Please can someone advise me on the best step next. I refuse to give them any money as we lived in the building and my partner had no other option and moved the car first thing in the morning!
Any advice would be much appreciated thanks!

Please show us that letter.
I am wondering if they have taken the matter to Small Claims Court without you knowing - in which case you can get the default judgment set aside if you act quickly. And yes, hide your car but it makes no sense that it's from Magistrates Court?!
Are you sure this is not about a completely different unpaid Council PCN? We need to see the letter as it could all be a scam.
When you post a link this website won't let you (newbies can't) so you need to make a break in between the http and the
/ in the URL link to your photos of the letter. Then we can see it and we can convert the link in the next reply. PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Fine? or Penalty? or Parking Charge?
Parking is decriminalized so it will not be a fine.
A Penalty would not apply on private land.
A Parking Charge would apply on private land but they would take you to a civil court..i.e a County Court.:footie:

you must move fast on this, do as coupon mad says, if your unsure on how to post images read the sticky on here, if your a new member and cant post links the just post the bit after the http://www. section
if you do manage to get the letter uploaded make sure that you scrub out any personal details ( ie name/address etc) this can be done with microsoft paint or simalar.
Private pakring company employeese/owners watch this place to please make sure that you do the above, you should also be aware that PPC people also post fake court cases/claims etc on here, douing the above will allow people on here to help you, and prove your 1000% genuine.
also beaing in mind the above, treat any personal; messages from unknown sources with a huge pinch of salt.

Thanks for your replies
Yes it definately says magistrates court order and the parking problem is the only thing it could be.
The enforcement officer is Marston and their client who they are sending us the letter on their behalf is HMCTS Liverpool which I cannot seem to find anything about online??
Unfortunately I threw all the correspondence from them in previous letters away as I was just told best thing to do was ignore them and throw away.
I will try to upload picture of letter. What is best way to do it I am not very good with technical things lol

Sounds like a fake order to me. They'll do that to scare you but the wording will just be slightly different as to not be a genuine order at all. Where does it ask you send the payment to? How much?:footie:

HMCTS is Her Majesty's Courts & Tribunals Service.
If there is no phone number on the letter you could try the Liverpool HMCTS Customer Service Officer on 0151 236 9397 to find out what it is about.0 -
