]Options;
Cycle- but make sure that you have adequate front and rear lights and a rear reflector (compulsory, though with most cyclists where I live, you wouldn't have thought it), wear hi-viz or light coloured clothing and it's advisable to wear a helmet. That way if a motorist collides with you because he/she hasn't seen, you, you can blame them. Or if you don't want to risk coming into contact with afore mentioned idiot motorist, there is always the additional following options;
Car - make sure you have your lights on (dipped headlights required) during the hours of darkness or poor viability. Look out for idiot 'ninja' cyclists who do not have any of the above.
Bus - Leave all RTA responsibilities to the bus driver although it is advisable to wear light coloured clothing walking to and from the bus stop.
Walk - wear light coloured clothing and look out for idiot 'ninja' cyclists who are riding recklessly without lights and maybe riding on or accross the pavement and when crossing the road, look out for idiot motorists who may have forgotten to have switched their lights on (because they didn't read the above or thought it would make their electric bill cheaper)
Well,thanks for laying out how to travel places
That is awesome,I could never have worked out those 'options'0 -

Some drivers fear causing an accident as they understand the risk they pose. Others are just concerned about their paintwork or NCB. Your one accident does not define all interaction between cyclists and motorists.Most drivers are fearful of cyclists: No matter how idiotic the cyclist is, no matter how blatantly a cyclist causes an accident, it's always the car driver's fault. So yes, when you have a situation where you're responsible for someone else's unpredictable actions, as I was, of course you'll hesitate.
I've never met a "resentful" car driver... Stupid car drivers who don't pay attention, sure. There's lots of those - about as many as there are cyclists. But resentful?
You've never met a resentful motorist!. You need to get out more. Get off the road. Get off the pavement. Read the Highway Code. Go faster. Go slower. Move over. Ride in the gutter. Don't filter. Pay Road Tax...................................
