    I assume this was a 10" Tablet?
If so the £50 needs to be claimed by you from samsung..

    >>>>HERE

As long as you fit all the criteria....

These probably being the most relevent at this time...
    1. Qualifying Tablet purchases must be made from 00.01 on the 24th October 2012 to 23.59 on the 31st of December 2012 (inclusive). The claim window will close at 23.59 on the 28th of February 2013, all claims received after this date will be marked invalid.
    2. Claims must be made within 15 - 60 days from the date of purchase, for the avoidance of doubt the date of purchase on the invoice or receipt counts as day 1. Claims received outside this period will be marked as invalid and will not be accepted.
Oh god! So i've got to fill in another claim then? What a pain in the !!!!!
  • I also was surprised when I only received £30 Cashback from PC World for a Samsung 10 tab 2 with case deal. When digging deeper I see buried in the T&C's that PC World will cashback only £30 with £50 From Samsung ... To be claimed separately. I have complained to PC World as I believe that I have been mis sold as apart from the T&C's, all the 'above the line ' advertising, leaflets, tv, online does not make clear that the offer is conditional on a Samsung offer. The offer 100% masqueraded as cashback from PC World. As I say, I have logged a complaint, however, I would like to know whether I have a case if the demarcation of the offer between PC World and Samsung was only detailed in the T&C's? Details of my complaint are below.
I agree that in your terms and conditions it does state the demarkation of claims between you PC world and Samsung, however, I dispute two points

    1. The demarkation of the offer between PC World and Samsung was not made clear on any 'above the line' advertisement whether it be on the retail floor, leaflets or TV advertisement.

    2. The link was not made visible or automated in any way to take me to the Samsung claim form at the time of my claim - if this was the case I would of course have made the additional claim to Samsung.

If you disagree with any of my points then I would ask that you

    1. Send me a link or a screen shot to the web site where it is clearly shows that I should have made a claim to Samsung after I filled out the claim to PC World. The original link is no longer accessible to me so would need this.

    2. Send me copies of literature that are not T&Cs where it is clear that the offer is conditional on claiming £50 of the cash back from Samsung as I belive that I was misold this offer based on the information advertised at time of purchase or available to me at the time of claim. The offer appears to be a PC World offer and as such and cash back would be due from PC World.

I purchased this product (Samsung Tab 2 and Case) in good faith based on your advertised offer and so I aks that you appreciate that the offer was not clear and concise and that you provide me with a satisfactory outcome, namely the additional £50 that I am due.

If you are not the correct part of the organisation to receive and process my complaint or I need to contact a point of escalation then refer me onto the correct contact by return.

Spoke to them today. They're now blaming a systems problem for the latest delays. If you call them, they'll 'prioritise' your payment - which in their terms means 7-10 days.

I got the same excuses that "the banking systems have been down the last couple of days" which doesn't add up since my payment should have been sent over a week ago.....

    Absolutely shocking.

If you find my posts useful, "pay it forward" and help someone else out, that's how places like MSE can be so successful.
  • My cashback was due on 22/2. Just phoned helpline and got the 'we are experiencing high levels, your payment is overdue but i will try to get it paid out in batch on 1/3' of course they have high levels as i bought my tablet on 31/12. Suppose if they had not taken time off over xmas they might have been on track:rotfl:

Did anyone manage to get one of the 3G Tab2 7.0s that Amazon were selling earlier today for £158.80?

Brief appearance on HUKD seems to have cleared a pretty small stock, but who know, there might be more at some later point.

the 7" 8gb is priced at £149 at Dixons at UK airports..okay if you travelling. Check with dixons website to call airport store for stock.

I rang about not receiving my refund, was told that they had experienced high volumes etc. but he would put the refund through and it would be in my account by the 27th of February, so I checked today and guess what - it's not there! Any ideas on what I should be saying when I call them again tomorrow?
:hello:  please play nicely children !
