Yes I used a £5 A and a £5 T as well as a £4 cc mailing

promo until 18th november i believe(correct me if i am wrong)
and i used the 5 tonight towards a 40 spend no problems

Basically you get 1 point per £1 spent in T. You get an extra point for each bag you reuse (up to 3 on the self service). There are often offers to get you extra points when you spend x on y, or buy something specific.
You collect the points and every quarter Tesco send you vouchers. Each point is worth 1p to spend in store, but you can get more value if you use them to purchase meals, days out etc etc. have a look here. http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/

Calculate the points as 1000 is a tenner in vouchers, 20 in double up clubcard exchange, 30 in most rewards and 40 for restaurants and some hotels.
