could you please tell me how the points work? I ordered a club card weeks ago and it still hasn't come so I'm a newbie to any if this :o

    TIA

Did you sign up online? You should have been able to download a printable card so you can still collect points. If not Give HO a phone and see if you can at least get a cc number so you can collect points.

Basically you get 1 point per £1 spent in T. You get an extra point for each bag you reuse (up to 3 on the self service). There are often offers to get you extra points when you spend x on y, or buy something specific.
You collect the points and every quarter Tesco send you vouchers. Each point is worth 1p to spend in store, but you can get more value if you use them to purchase meals, days out etc etc. have a look here. http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/

    It's only a game

ok ive made enough points so will leave it there

i saw some say each cc has 30k max
how do people get the ipad and such like of ts website as they are over 30k cc points worth??
do they do it by linking cc to on account

I'm not sure where u seen that, iPads start from 215 in clubcard vouchers, not a great conversion rate tbh considering our clubcard vouchers sell for at least double on eBay anyway.

    have i missed something

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be a smartbottom, I thought I'd spelled it out with my cunningly placed highlights in your original quote.

I was referring to the likelihood of them a) having 45 in stock and b) being prepared to sell you 45 and take tokens against them. You may find their "bulk buying policy" being trotted out - I've encountered that when I've tried to buy about 20 light bulbs before. Good luck though, I admire your thought processes.
    Hope is not a strategy.

    hi

you spend £5 on a pre order of grand theft auto with 500 bonus points and people have said they have done 8 in one go and used a £5 off £40 so spending £35 for 4000+ points which can be made into deals or doubled up for instore use when you get your statement in february

Thanks, I'm not going to get this for not having my cc

How much is 4000 points worth please? Sorry for asking what seems a stupid question :o

    Latest update!

I have had a long chat with Rajah his brother and Poppy his sister this evening.
They both said they have no objections to Homer coming to live with them.

I have had a long chat with DH this evening.
He is coming with me to the RSPCA tomorrow to meet Homer and then we will discuss it further.

    It's all looking very promising!!:T:T

I've just been catching up with a friend who lives in USA, he tells me he has married a native indian woman and they are settled in Wyoming.

Her native indian name is "Joyous ponies", but since their marriage he calls her "Three horses", why so I asked ?

    "Nag, nag, nag" he replied

How can anyone part with a dog that has been a part of their family for three-and-a-half years.

I think you know the answer, it was fate you saw him :D

Unfortunately, this does happen for many many reasons. Like when we had to rehome our Billy after 2 years with us when Mr 3Dogs was diagnosed and I would not have been able to handle him as he was bigger then our others and very strong :( Heartbreaking for us, but absolutely necessary and the responsible thing to do. Actually, I was looking through some photos on my laptop the other day and when I saw the ones of Billy, with his handsome innocent face, I cried, but I know he is better off where he is now :(:(

However, back to Homer, and I am a firm believer that 'dogs find us'. We never find them. Fate steps in :j
    :( Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12 :( 3Dogs'Mam 31-3-13 :(

The majority of rewards are x3 so 4000 is worth £120

Calculate the points as 1000 is a tenner in vouchers, 20 in double up clubcard exchange, 30 in most rewards and 40 for restaurants and some hotels.

Sometimes other reward partners do promos and will offer better rates like x5 or x10

Ps ss tills never produce pre order slips its just how they are programmed
  • Wow. Surely that would be vegetable and chicken then if labeling laws still apply? Maybe that has changed though along with standard pack size regulation. How did that one get through when it patently only benefits the manufacturer rather than customer to allow any size of package now? Pasta used to be 500g, flour 2kg.... and now any size is allowed and even the catfood comes in 340g rather than 375g - same size box  Rant over!!
I am not young enough to know everything.

You can save your vouchers up they are good for 2 years and once exchanged good for 6 months

ETA its quite normal for a collector to have a card in your dog, cat, fish, children's, hubby's, offsprings names
