good point now you have me thinking, i'll go back through the paperwork & see hopefully it won't take me as long as it's just taken you to troll through all my posts to come up with that question :rotfl:I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Vaillant or Viessmann. Recent report on Remeha not promising.
so it was a incorrectly fitted clip or one that had come lose in transit, so hardly the massive OMG lets never fit them again & ban their sale that you are trying to make them out to beI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

Poor installer support from a boiler manufacturer is troubling. You need to take a step back and think about how you interpret a post. Stress is a killer.0 -
i do agree that it shouldn't have taken 5 days to get someone out & that is bad service, i never have that prob as i said & i guess it also depends how you talk to the person on the other end of the phone as to how helpful they are going to be & how quick they book you inI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

Vaillant have a bad reputation for aftersales and some parts can be expensive although they are a good boiler, Viessmann have plastic hydraulic units the last time I looked and Ive fitted them both. I've fitted Remeha, Worcester, Potterton, Baxi, Ideal, Ravenheat, Biasi and Ferroli and had problems with them all especially the last three, some minor some major. Viessmann's early open vented boilers had a terrible problem with air locks until they added venting to the flow.

I don't fit Biasi, RavenHeat, Ferroli, Sime, Ideal and I try hard not to fit Heatline unless I'm forced to.
And I'll take that as no then? :laugh:0 -
