New Boiler Recommendation

I would be grateful for any combi boiler recommendations for a house over 2 floors. 8 radiators and 1 bathroom.

Current boiler is 12-years old and needs to be replaced.

Are there any special offers on anywhere at present? :)

  • Hi,

A possible avenue to explore is a new service from the company that is supplying Solar Panels for free. A well known company discussed on this site many times are now offering to supply and install a new combi boiler, service every year and carry out all breakdown and repairs all for a weekly payment of about £4.00. Not sure if I can post the name on here so will ait for permission or you can pm me for the name. I stress I have absoloutly no connection with this company and I am unable to take advantage of their offer because I do no live in their operating area.
  • Does the boiler definitely need replacing? Would ensure it does before you do with a couple of opinions from here if need be?

Other wise Vaillant and Worcester Bosch seem to get recommended quite a bit on here

What is the existing make and model? What's wrong with it?
    Do you want another combi?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

yes its becoming increasingly unreliable. 3 call outs in 3 years, each engineer has said we should be thinking about replacing it.

at the moment we are getting a new kitchen, tiles and knocking through walls so its an opportune time.

    another combi.

Valliant...I dont have the model to hand. will post later.

increasingly unrealiable/breaking down. we are doing structural works to the kitchen so its an opportune time, rather than waiting.

worcester bosch if you can afford it, 5 yrs worry free if installed by an approved installer.
if you work out the difference in cost its about 3-400 quid, spread over 10 years

if your in the midlands area i know a few.

If the Vaillant has been reliable for 12 years why change brand? You'll get a 5 year warranty with a new one.
