dya reckon potatoes, onion, garlic and peppers would do, along with the kidney beans i have already cooked? I will have to give it a go i think.

Any courgettes, aubergine? ... even cauliflower goes well (I added a few bits leftover from Sunday to my chicken, pepper, chilli dish last night to pad out the chicken and it was fine!)

... took one look at it all this morning and got that 'orrible sinking feeling :( ... on my 2nd :coffee: and not even put any hot water in the bowl yet :o

Plus ... I've got a slow cooker full of chicken bones and veggies that I left cooking overnight to sift through yet too
never mind, it's nice and sunny just now - why not sit out in the garden for a minute?

    I don't have a garden :(

I'm over halfway thru the washing-up now ;) ... looked worse than it actually was as I also had my blender and food processor to wash (blender packed up so had to drag processor out and transfer stuff ) as well as the slow-cooker and a couple of pans before even starting on the pots and plates LOL!

    Aww, that's sad. :(

Things all too often look worse than they are. many's the time, after taking a deep breath, rolling my sleeves up, and getting on with some miserable task - I've looked back once it was done and wondered what I made all the fuss about.

These days, for things I'm not looking forward to, I make an appointment with myself to do it, make myself the promise, and usually set a small reward.

ps.gif I'm so dissapointed that nobody argued with my signature I'm gonna change it! smile3d.gif

No, squeaky - we might not agree with it, but it's true that that is what a lot of men think like. It goes in the same package as "how long can you make a toothbrush last for?"

Anyway, your sig made me laugh. If you change it, keep us smiling, eh?

What's even sadder is that I can probably count on both hands how many times I've even been outdoors in the last 12 months :(boohoo.gif

That's really bad. Pottering about in my little garden is one of the treats I give myself.
