I wonder if anyone else is like me. I've had some chicken thighs cooking today and the smell was gorgeous but when it got to teatime I couldn't face eating it. Then hubby came home and he didn't want it, so two more meals for the freezer and we had scrambled egg.

Got some nice stock from just cooking the chickens and now got both carcasses, veggies and herbs back in the pot overnight :p

And I'm knackered and got a kitchen full of washing up to do yet

It'll wait. Bung it all in the sink to soak overnight and it will be that much easier to clean in the morning.

    Even easier next week!

:rotfl: ... I have a system!!! (when it works) ... fill the sink with hot soapy water when I make my first :coffee: of the morning, and put some stuff into soak. Then I'm supposed to wash those up when I get my next coffee (between reading MSE) and put the next lot in and so on and so forth until hopefully it's all done before I need to cook dinner :D

Somehow I don't think it's going to work today though ... took one look at it all this morning and got that 'orrible sinking feeling :( ... on my 2nd :coffee: and not even put any hot water in the bowl yet :o

Plus ... I've got a slow cooker full of chicken bones and veggies that I left cooking overnight to sift through yet too

My bolognese sauce i made yesterday, with a reduced to clear tray of pork mince, 40p! was so popular there isnt enough left to make the chilli i had planned for today
Now, do i get some beef out of the freezer, which i was saving for next week (was also 40p) or do i make a veggie chilli (sacrilege IMHO)
