I had three packs of lamb chops to use up. This is what I did.
I chopped up two onions and put them in the bottom of the Slow Cooker.
I then peeled two carrots and chopped them up and added them on top of the onions.
Then I had a big handful of baby potatoes and chopped them up. and added them.
I got all the lamb chops and spent a bit of time slicing off as much fat as I could be bothered two. I then sprinkled a mixture of rosemary, thyme and oregano over the lamb and layered that over the veg.
Then I crushed some garlic added that on top of the lamb. Finally I sliced up three tomatoes and put them on top. I made up a quarter of a pint of lamb stock and pored it over the lot. It's now cooking on low.
Do you think that will be ok, shall I add anything else?

It's a hangover from the very old days of the forum software.
One of the earlier software updates didn't translate the code properly but left the code itself in place instead of what it stands for.

Haven't read through all of this properly, but found a recipe for barbecued pork chops. I have some cubed pork and was going ot do it similarly with tinned tomatoes peppers etc, but hadn't thought of using the bbq sauce, so might try that. I'd also read about doing baked potatoes in foil on top.. but I"mnot too sure about this? Don't want anything coming off the foil into the sauce?? will it?
sauce won't taste metallic?
WOuld be good if I could do that though.
Thanks0 -

Hi
i`ve been using foil in the sc for ages and have never had a problem with it coming apart or tainting food.
I use the really cheap thin foil too, go ahead you shouldn`t have any problems.

I must have missed talk of putting potatoes in foil in SC recipe.
Do you leave the skins on, then wrap in foil and put into SC meat casserole.
How do they turn out, just like boiled potatoes but in their skins, does there need to be a lot of liquid in the pot
Thanx0
