No doubt Lois will come along to give an easy way....... but if it was me I would set up a different page, link the relevant columns through to it and then graph it.

    Oooo, good one, thanks!
mmm...fibre BB took me a wee while to work out - it's all the talk of loo roll and juicing everywhere, thought it was breakfast cereal for a mo:o

Oops! Sorry to confuse. I still get confused between DD (Dear Daughter) and DD (Direct Debit) or SO (Significant Other) and so (as in so :p)!

Yes, that's probably how I'd do it too. :)

I am officially an IT genius :T.

Very good day so far. Made another big batch of soup using up veggies that weren't too happy. Off to work at 4, boo. Missed Amazon delivery, boo. But, means my tupperware is here, ready to be picked up and batch cooking on with.

Friends are coming back from holiday on Sunday. Have decided to cook them some grub as their fridge will be empty coming back. Not looking forward to drive to Glasgow again on Sunday :(

Phoned up bank today, and woman was very surprised I wanted to increase mortgage payments. She offered to check what our new mortgage ending date would be, and I jumped at the chance of course ;)

With the OPs made so far, and the extra £37.59, before the £100 I'm trying to pay monthly, our term has gone from 32 years 9 months to 25 years! How amazing is that, nearly 8 years! The lady at the bank is my new best friend, have a feeling I will be phoning her often to find out the new date :rotfl:

Very excited, and off to try and play with spreadsheets :)

How lovely to get such a helpful bank lady on the phone. It's always such a gamble phoning a bank - some of the staff are great, and others tell you things that are actually wrong, which makes them worse than useless. Did you get her name?

Oops :o I forgot. To be fair, Nationwide have always been amazing when I've had to phone them up, so I guess I just take it for granted that they'll all help me!

I work in a call centre though, so I know exactly what you mean. All I spend all day doing is correcting mistakes other people have made and apologising that someone has told them incorrect information. By which time, of course, they believe nothing that anybody says to them. Managers won't help, refuse to come on phone. Everyone is demotivated, and you have so much hassle with stat targets that you either suffer and get shouted at because you're trying to help people or the customer suffers. Ah, can't wait to go to work this afternoon....

    Look what I did!

Gutted today, £146 to repair car. I want to squeeze another £100 OP this month, but it'll leave my bank balance low. Buuut, I have no need for spends this month apart from petrol, and I've got plenty for that. Think I will send money across as then it's done, and otherwise I'll waste it.

Glasgow tomorrow, yummy Japanese food and free books from vouchers :)
  • hello, just popping in to say I always find the staff at Nationwide call centre to be very freindly. I kinda get the feeling that they are on my side! When I called to pay off my first mortgage last november, the lady sounded so pleased and excited for me. Enjoy Glasgow tomorrow...not been shopping there for ages

I'm back in Glasgow at the end of this month, although I don't think will do the whacky-races bit as hopefully will just take the train (and of course squeeze in a visit to JL, and a few choice wee shops in Buchanan Street:D)
    February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
    MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

I definitely agree :) I love them, so much better than my last bank/BS. Thanks, I hope I enjoy it and it's not too manic!

Only just over an hour's drive away, so not too bad. Unfortunately I'm picking up friends from airport, so need car for luggage. They are buying me lunch and paying for petrol though :D
I will be paying a visit to Waterstones, I'll wave to JL for you :p
