It is absolutely amazing Tilly, wee place in England called Thursday Cottage.

Steak, balsamic glazed beetroot and some bread for dinner. Was amazed, OH gobbled the bread up even though it was brown and seedy! First successful loaf :)

£30 OP to mortgage, cashback for gas/elec switchover has come through.

The wisdom of that switchover choice is debatable though!

Our switch has been a total PITA, would never use the cheap energy club again. Stood still for nearly 5 months until I called the energy company exasperated and they have effectively put through a new quote. So we wasted money for half a year and don't even get the switching reward or hotel stay. I will go through a comparison site with the infrastructure to actually deliver next time

Oh really? I wonder if that was the website or nP0wer though...

List of things that have gone wrong so far:

    - bills aren't being produced
    - electricity was taken over 3 weeks after switch initiated
    - gas taken over nearly 3 months () after switch initiated
    - having submitted opening readings 3 times online and once over the phone, these are not saving onto the system for some reason
    - this means that as I did not record opening readings they don't know what these are to give back to Briti$h Gas, meaning my bill with BG or nP0wer may be incorrect somewhere.
    - I haven't received my nearly £200 credit from BG yet as they have not got opening reading from nP0wer yet.

    Shall I go on?

Aw, thank you! I am very surprised and pleased, it's the first time a doughy soggy mess hasn't been the result! I don't have a large enough vocabulary to describe the yum that is that passionfruit curd, it is heavenly :A

    Clever stick? :rotfl: Thanks.

I've applied for two internships related to my area of study in USA () and one in Scotland, completely unrelated to what I'm currently doing but looks fascinating and worthwhile. Will find out on 31st if I have any interviews, at which point I'll be a nervous wreck :o

Mattress is getting delivered tomorrow and I am OVER THE MOON! I'm really hoping it'll help me get off to sleep better. So today, need to tidy bedroom for delivery, wash all linen etc so nice fresh sheets on new bed :j

Off to make pizza recipe from Tilly, hope it goes well! Got mozzarella and a huge pot of basil so I am very excited for this. Also going to try and make chorizo!

    No snow :(

Well, back on normal form! Made pizzas for dinner tonight (last night mince needed used up). OH's came out the oven, crispy, cheese all melty, homemade chorizo lovely. Mine came out - soggy, burnt, sad :( Put way too much sauce on mine and it made the base completely soggy, so tried to crisp it up by leaving it in longer.... oops.

Will try again tomorrow, plenty of leftover dough. The dough itself went fine, I just messed it up! :rotfl:

Got email from internship company to say they'd received my cover letters, always love it when people confirm they received applications or I worry. Find out on Friday if I have any interviews.

New mattress arrived today, it's so beautiful!! Fresh newly laundered sheets on it, I cannot wait until I can go to bed!

    Jobs for tomorrow:
Print off DD mandate and R85!!!!!! (Stop procrastinating!)
Fit parameters to model - check for data.
    Check meeting place for Wed.
    Weigh-in day tomorrow :(

Now there's a detailed to do list, I love it! Good luck - especially with stopping procrastinating, I've been doing a ton of that the last few days because of the accounts.
