Royal mail doesnt count any parcel as missing until 15 working days do they? But thats 3 weeks to a buyer!0 -
Really not sure when u ask for a refund grom the seller if it doesnt turn up, seems a long time for a parcel, especially seeing as ive received others that were posted after the 29th! Im guessing i will never see it!0

Any post can take longer to arrive - not usually above 2 weeks though.
But not posting it in the agreed time is another issue.
I have never chased up a parcel before a week - and would normally send a polite message just to let then know it had not arrived after 10 days.
However - thats from the day it was SUPPOSED to be posted. If they lost a week by posting late - thats not your problem.
Thats why i post EARLIER than i state. Gives me an extra day or 2 if royal mail mess up. Posting late AND then royal mail having delays is taking a big risk with the sellers account.
Whe do EBAY say it should arrive? Look at the order in myebay. I'm guessing end of October.0 -
Ebay say 31st october - 1st november, so i messaged the seller on the 2nd asking for tracking details so i could see if it was anywhere near, obviously it wouldnt have told me anyway as they posted recorded and not courier as the listing had stated.0

remember that in your feedback and those stars!0

Iv just sent the seller a message stating that im happy to wait another two days to see if it shows but otherwise i will be expecting a full refund and for them to claim from royal mail for the loss.
For some reason in expecting to get a lot of abuse in return, then i shall open a case, but we will see, they may surprise me.
Out of interest, if the seller posted exactly a week after i paid, would they still be covered for seller protection? Would that make a difference if i opened a case?0 -

Makes no difference to you - and if the seller does get abusive - you can report them and make appropiate feedback comments and stars.
You've have been quite patient.0 -
Hi, hope its not mine your waiting for.. I posted about 10 items on the 29th, all first class recorded. Half arrived the next day and the next three within 3 days, but the last two are still in the system.
Now what happens if my buyers ask and gets a refund, and the items then turn up before i claim against RM?0 -
If the item showed here then i personally would pay the seller again, as first of all the tracking would show delivered, and i wouldnt want them to be out of pocket. But then i would suppose not all would...0
