yes you shouldn't pay CONKAI SECURITY any money, not a penny to CONKAI SECURITY in any form. If you get any more letters off CONKAI SECURITY you should file them in the circular filing cabinet.

mine get filed in a square cabinet with a pop up lid. it contains this thing called a black bin liner that the local council store it for me in a refuse tip.
The word about the scammers is spreading like marmite here in the westcountry.
We workers all love it and the ppc hate it :rotfl:

If you get any letters from CONKAI SECURITY you should come back here and let us know, because the DVLA or some other PPC might be in big trouble over data protection issues!
    Je Suis Cecil.
  • thanks again for the advice, how are you guys all so sure that Conkai aren't in the BPA AOS or that they shouldn't have access to my address? I can see a circular logo that says "approved creator" or something but it has been blacked out (you can see this on the ticket scan above) what does it mean and why is it blacked out?

that's the list ..they are not on it .

The DVLA will only give data to those on the list. If Conkai do get your keeper details then complain to the DVLA about the unlawful disclosure of said data.

  • I work nearby to the address they have as their business address but its actually a mailboxes store so all they do is hire a box for their post to go to. I see the conkai van turn up and he regularly parks in a disabled bay...I am hoping and praying for the day the REAL traffic wardens come along and ticket them.
I hope their con is stopped soon, a lady received a fine from them it looked legit until you looked closer & they were trying to get something like 85 pounds from her.. horrible people.

Agreed, they are horrible but their tickets hardly look 'legit' and doesn't the chavvy name (presumably named after the pykey owner's two sons 'Connor and Kai', one would guess) give it away as not exactly a 'parking ticket' from an authority?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As Conkai are not in the AOS they are very easy to ignore.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
