Does anyone know the legal position wrt UK2 deleting emails (or not forwarding them) which have been sent to your domain. Who do these emails belong to.0

Result, UK2 did not charge me to leave, and heartinternet did not charge me for arriving, the changeover took a couple of hours.
Now it is better because I have lost the banners UK2 inflicted on me, so they have done me a favor really.
Heartinternet even have free hosting which would be fine for a small site.

Hello folks :-)
I had been with UK2 for a number of years and managed to accumulate a dozen or more domains with them. The newly introduced con would have cost me an extra £720 a year. OK, so after they saw how many people were leaving they decided to reduce the price. It would still have cost me an extra £240 a year (until they raise it later on).
I'd already decided not to renew web forwarding on some of those domains which was something else that really annoyed me about UK2.
The uk domains I transferred to 123-REG without any problems whatsoever, and at no cost, from UK2 or 123-reg
The problem I am having now is with a high level domain (.org) where the UK2 moveaway page won't recognise the 123 reg Joker handle. It now appears they have screwed up and replaced the Domain Admin email address with a long redundant one. Hopefully they will correct their error and finally give me the authcode.
So far it's been going on for a couple of weeks and needless to say emails are getting bounced while this continues.
As has been said 123-reg don't charge for incoming uk domains but they do charge £9.99 for .com and .org etc
123-reg don't charge for catch all email forwarding and they don't charge for web forwarding.0 -
UK2.net = Incompetent, liars, irresponsible, cheats. They have lost the data of well 10 sites web and servant serious damages. The authorities should prohibit to similar people to operate online still! Shame!I have two domains hosted by UK2, they have been there for about 8 years now.
A couple of days ago, I get an email saying that they will start to charge for Catch All Forwarding, i.e. *@mydomain.co.uk will be bounced unless I pay the extra.
I have always used mail@mydomain.co.uk as my main email address, but now they won't allow this address as it is a "system address", so when Catch All Forwarding is turned off, it will get bounced, unless I pay the extra.
As 99% of my critical mail uses this address, I am prety stuffed, if I turn Catch All Forwarding on, it will cost about £5 +VAT per month, and I will get all the spam that I have been avoiding lately.
Has anyone else had the same problem??
Sorry, thought i was posting in the Techie forum :-(0 -
