You think you guys have it bad...
My boy is horrendous!
- He doesn't watch DVDs, watches everything online
- Only plays FPS games (and has them all)
- Doesn't care about sports
- Doesn't do anything really active
- Lives about five minutes from his work so doesn't drive/cycle
- Hates people buying him clothes
- Doesn't do grooming products etc.
- Doesn't cook
- Hates 'clutter' so little nick nacks are out
He doesn't even drink hot drinks so mugs/gift sets are out!
His life basically consists of eating food that others have made him/was prepared in less than ten minutes, playing WoW, watching things online, working in a shop and seeing me(I swear to god he is an attractive and wonderful person, it's just he doesn't have many interests and any he does have he's incredibly picky about).
So far he's got a bottle of Hugo Boss and a new wallet. I had to talk him down from buying himself both of these things last pay day... That's probably all I'll get him but I want to do him a stocking - touchscreen gloves will definitely be going in!£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -
So far I've done some Christmas shopping at The Works and ordered DH some books that are relevant to his interests. He has developed an interest in gardening and self sufficiency recently so I got him Giles & Sue Live The Good Life for 99p- “Find out how Giles and Sue lived The Good Life, and how you can too. • Grow and cook your own veg • Have a go at pottery • Bake your own bread • Build a chicken pen • Generate your own power • Keep a pig • Make your own Christmas decorations • Become a beekeeper” and The Fruit and Veg Grower's Cookbook by Kathryn Hawkins for £2.99. He's also an animal lover and we have lots of pets so I got him What If My Cat...? Expert Answers to All Those Catty Problems by Claire Arrowsmith and Francesca Riccomini for £1.99 and A Lion Called Christian for 99p.
I'm also going to get him some After Eight mints because he loves them and they're BOGOF at Tesco, the challenge is going to be hiding them from him till Christmas!
I've been inspired by Kyliexjx and I'm doing him a gym hamper, or a fitness hamper in his case since he doesn't go the gym but enjoys running. I'll include a nice tracksuit, sports socks, shower gel and body spray etc.
For his main present I'm hoping to get him a new bike.0 -

My husband also plays WoW so last Christmas I made him a gamer hamper with a game card for pre paid play, a WOW hoodie, a new mouse and headphones for his computer and energy drinks based on the potions in the game. The hoodie wouldn't work for your OH but maybe some of the other ideas would. You could get him some computer accessories like a gamer mouse or headset. A nice way to add a personal touch is getting a mouse mat customised with a photo of the two of you. Also if he likes eating food that others have made maybe you could get him a hungry house gift voucher? Good luck.0 -

I got my husband a USB camera to fit on his bike, it was half-price at Play.com earlier his year, he's very nosy when he's out cycling so will love watching it back later and showing me where he went! also got some Aramis aftershave half-price which was on the Grabbit board. A few other small items that he asked for too, not spending a fortune this year. He put money towards a sewing machine for me, can't wait to get it.0

I was getting my OH a new sat nav but he's recently discovered his phone makes a perfectly good one  so now all he wants is one of those car holders for it!
The only other thing he wants is a Christmas jumper but some of them are £40  and the cheaper ones tend to be printed rather than knitted - any ideas? (I can't knit btw!)0 -

Where did you get the energy drinks?
I got them on ebay for £3.94 each but they're also available on Amazon, search 'mana energy potion' or 'health energy potion'. They're energy shots so small bottles but they're a fun novelty. I suppose you could also make your own and label them, more MSE!0
