Just as a quick guess you should get tax credits for 3 children so about £165 a week, plus child benefit ~£45, plus JSa of £71 a week plus full council tax benefit plus help with your mortgage interest.

You may by now be wondering why you struggle to work, which is what I think Mara69 meant. If you didn't have the child related allowances you would be in a bit of a pickle.

Maintenance (if any) from the children's father is not counted.

so don't worry, you honestly shouldn't be in the poor house.

Assuming you have no savings or working partner and are entitled to income based here are current figures

    £165 pw Child Tax
    your CB
    £71 pw JSA
    Council Tax paid

    Plus support with your mortgage.

So you are looking at £284 per week in cash plus your Council Tax plus help with your mortage.

    Plus any maintenance

Probably a lot more than you thought isn't it?

You want an 'I'm the class sneak' badge?

You do realise as you are new that you don't report people simply because you don't agree with them?

Are you a sock puppet? You only joined 10 days ago yet you have already "reported a number of posts".

It's easy for the site owners to check ISPs or whether proxies are being used.
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

I just think the nastiness is unwarranted it's constant and quite frankly makes me want to throw up - sorry didn't realise you were the only ones allowed opinion, please do point me in the direction of where it says you are in charge.

go ahead and check, i am a new user of the site altho a long time lurker, I seriously dislike the way a small number of posters try to shame people for being in a position where they feel they have no choice but to claim benefits. There but for the grace etc

It's not normal to see someone join a site and immediately post aggressively and report a number of posts in a day. That is why some posters create sock puppets (another username) to behave like that; but then they usually give themselves away but doing something out of the ordinary for a new poster.

As I said, ISPs and the use of proxies can easily be checked by the site mods/owners.

As you are new and sensitive perhaps you should investigate the 'ignore' function.

Simply click on the user name of the person and I believe it is the last option in the drop down menu. You will no longer see posts from anyone you don't want to.

By the way you do realise how much time and resources has to be spent to look at all your reports of abuse? Be sure it is actual abuse not simply something YOU don't like before you press the button.
