    Another vote for rummikub here - everyone we have played it with has been introduced to it by someone playing it with them - and they have then promptly gone out and bought the game too

    I want to play board games now! Articulate sounds like great fun, but I think I'd pick either Cranium or Telestrations (what a great concept!) if I had to choose. I wish I knew people who like board games! :(

    we like who's in the bag and bezzerwizzer, the latter can often be found in home bargains for less than a fiver.

    It is basically just rummy, there is nothing difficult about it other than memorising the sets of tiles.

    I play this on my lappy while I'm waiting for veg or the meat to do...

    very satisfying matching game.

    Until OH and DD appear and start telling me where the matches are... :mad:

    I like it and would love a real set!

    We bought Dixit for my SIL last Christmas and it's fantastic! You can play over and over and it's very different to any other board game I've played.

    Read some reviews on anazon;

    We bought QUELF last Christmas and it is hilarious. There are lots of things to do which are really random. My OH had to talk like a pirate for most of the game and when my daughter put her thumb on the edge of the table everyone had to copy and the last one to do so had a forfeit, half of the time she was sitting for ages doing it before anyone noticed :rotfl:

    Another vote for Rummikub from me too! :T

    Ooh sorry, just editing this because I realise QUELF is quite expensive. I think I got it on offer last year!
