Not really sure where would be the best place to ask this (?) but I am looking for ideas for a family game or board game to buy as a present for a couple in their 30s.
They love things like Monopoly (they have a few versions of it, so I won't buy another one
), pictionary which I think they also have, trivial pursuits and things like that.
Can anyone suggest any games or board games for adults? (I don't mean x-rated :rotfl:, just fun/cerebral kind of games for them to play either together or when family come over)

Mr and Mrs is fun. We have been to a few evenings where we have played Mr and Mrs and it gets really funny with a few glasses of wine.0

My mum has Telestrations, which is a cross between Pictionary and Charades, and it's hilarious. We've only played it with a few people (including kids) but I think it would be loads more fun with a group of adults. Well worth a look.0

These aren't necessarily the cheapest you could get these games for but we have played these in the previous Christmases as a family between 23 and 62 so suitable for all ages really

I can't remember the game, but what about the one where you have a card on your forehead and your opponents have to describe what you are.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £16,087.170

telestrations looks funny, - and they both say they can't draw so that might be an interesting one!
thanks for all the suggestions so far, I am a bit spoilt for choice now :rotfl: Most if not all of them seem to have good reviews on amazon.0 -

No, I don't know what this game is called but it sounds good.Abbafan1972 wrote: »I can't remember the game, but what about the one where you have a card on your forehead and your opponents have to describe what you are.
There's another game they've got already where you have to make a model of the word on the card out of playdough, and you are timed. Then the other players have to try and guess what the word is by looking at what you've managed to make out of the playdough. That was quite a funny one, too.0
