Kidcat what an amazing spread for the party, you must have oodles of guests coming. I've only used those printed icing decs on fondant icing I think, although if they are just rice paper for cupcakes I have put those on butter icing.0

Kidcat, your baking amazes me! I have a huge urge to applaud you greatly! Lol.
Royal icing should do it0 -
P.s. Daddy is doing bath, feed and bed with little man so I've snuck off for a bath of myself! And you know what I'm going to open the bottle of wine
Happy Friday!0 -
Kidcat do you get stressed baking in those numbers or is it a case if the more you bake the less stressed you get?
I've been asked to bake 40 mini quiches for my little nieces birthday and worrying about it already. It's not until June .
Well done, those numbers are phenomenal
Happy Friday peanut!0 -
I've been using my Rolser (Roycer) wally trolley since my cataract op since I can't drive with such a mismatch between my two eyes. (Can't wait for next op) I wish I had had the nerve to buy a jazzy patterned one but I opted for unobtrusive dark blue - at least it's not tartan.
I was out with it on Tuesday when we had that glorious day and I felt so happy just walking round in SUNSHINE!!!. Don't think it would have been much fun today as the rain poured coldly down from the moment the fog lifted sufficiently to be able to distinguish separate drops of waterIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -

GQ: You were entirely responsible for me going down the trolley route. I LOVE my snazzy purple and turquoise sporty number and have had many compliments and interesting conversations about it.
Fuddle: Apostrophes all in the right places, what a rewarding pupil you are. Don't stress about 40 mini-quiches. If you can make a dozen jam tarts you can make a dozen mini quiches. Don't put jam in them, obviously, just your quiche filling. Then do it three more times. Tra-la.
ss: So sorry to hear the news about your SIL (think I've got that right,) sending up healing prayers for her.
Can't remember who advised Mr T's knicker shorts. Bought a pair to try and they are FABULOUS. They're not microfibre (they only had thongs in microfibre. No way!) but they are stretchy, comfy and, most important, they don't make me itch. I'm going back to get as many pairs as I can afford. I've learned by experience that the moment I find a product I really like they stop producing it. So I'm pre-empting them. So, thank you a trillion times whoever told me about them.
Goodness, look at the time. I'm off to bed.

I have a granny trolley and it is tartan
In my defence, a) I have been a grandmother for 11 years.
b) The trolley supports me when I walk.
c) It holds an enormous amount.
d) It only came in tartan (quite a muted one, thankfully).
e) I have used the other type of trolley for donkey's years and prefer my granny one now.
f) Nobody passing by kicks the trolley, and it never tips over.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
On the other hand, I never use the trolley locally as I always use my trike. The trolley is purely for bus trips. I used to use it for work.
The trike is cool. I can fit even more on the back of that than I can in my trolley.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... McCullch - the trike sounds great, DD has a fabulous red special needs trike and I just thought I'd let you know that according to her what you are doing when you go out on your trike is trike - el - ing! She is most insistant on this point - LOL!
Met my lovely friend in the village hall at 9 after the bowls had finished to start setting up for tomorrow. We've put up all the tables we can, the rest are coming from the church tomorrow, and I've set up my stall so I can do the organising. Beginning to have a bit of a panic now about whether all will go to plan - I'm sure it will do but I'll panic anyway!
Kidcat - I'm proud of you too, hope tomorrow goes well for DD's party.
Right off to top my wineglass up - just a smidge - purely for medicinal, nerve quashing reasons of course. I put extra tissues in my handbag for tomorrow as I feel sure I'm going to need them! Been an emotional couple of weeks in the nicest possible way.
Hugs and happy thoughts to all. X0
