  • lots of love kidcat x thinking of you and your family x such a sad time

I spoke to DMIL before about DH's auntie. she was sat up in a chair today feeling a lot brighter. she's had a stent fitted to the right side of her heart in the main artery and is likely to be allowed home in the next week as long as someone is at home with her. MIL doesn't want to do it, we can't do it and the aunt doesn't want her g'daughter to do it. that doesn't really leave many options. not sure what she's expecting!

Lynn, don't get me wrong, they have their moments and can fight like any other sisters (i was going to say cat and dog, but ours play nicely together too!), it's just so special when I can hear them talking nicely with each other and being kind. They love each other and look out for each other. we have talked about saving up and moving to a bigger house but they have said they don't want separate rooms so we're in no rush for now (this house is comfy and cosy but it is a little on the small side!)

  • KIDCAT bless you for helping your uncle to a safe harbour with dignity, caring and love, for fighting for his sake and for bringing his family together to him before his peaceful passing. The grief you all feel must be mitigated by the love you showed him and each other, his suffering is gone, you be at peace too, thinking of you all and with admiration, Lyn xxx.
  • Kidcat I'm so sorry to hear the news. Your Uncle is at peace now, and hopefully you can take some comfort in the fact that you were there for him throughout. Take care of yourself and we are all thinking of you. xx

unixgirl, re your 'friend' not actually living the house permantly. Our neighbour did exactly the same, basically for the single persons money. The father of her child said he couldnt afford for them to move in. In november last year the council finally gave her the push. And they are now trying to recover what was claimed, so i expect they arent going to be having a good year. You can give the information annomously ??sp?? if your worried, and yes they do have to investigate every claim. They check things like mail being delivered, credit checks, holidays being booked etc also bank account transactions. Seems like there are many ways to trace these things.
