Wow its taken me an hour to read all of todays posts.

Jem - ((hugs)) I hope the tablets work and you feel better soon.

Gailey - makro and costco are both online now so it may be worth checking prices with them too.

Its been another very long day and lots of dashing about here and there, its pouring rain yet again and absolutely freezing cold. Am hoping the rain stops tonight as I have promised to go to buy the Christmas tree tomorrow and its horrid to have to go trampling through a field picking a tree in the rain.

DD6 had yet another trip to the emergency dentist last night so today we had to take her to be booked in for it to be removed under sedation, our dentist refused to do that though as they want to do it by needle instead. Thankfully through recommendation I was able to find a local dentist to see her and they have referred her instead.
Was so cross that our dentist has yet again let us down and as a result poor DD is in pain and taking more antibiotics.

She performed in her play again today and it struck me it was her last Christmas play as they dont do them in the junior years - so thats it for that one - quite sad really.

Am absolutely exhausted now and can feel my headache slowly slinking back so am going to try some pain killers now to head it off.

Watched the dawn of the dead (2004) today, so funny listening to easy listening version of the disturbed song down with the sickness. the twenty minutes later in tears when andy turned into a zombie, the poor b*gger:(

Saying that if anything happened here like that my eldest would be out there on patrol with ds2 shouting out orders. My OH says we'll be all right , yep your mother can't wait for the electric go off she'll love it:o.

Yes they all think i'm mad, but hey at least we have more fun;)

I thought "The Walking Dead" was on tomorrow night...it's still up on the display on the TV guide on sky! Can't believe it's the last one already tho.

I'm another one who had wondered where Gailey had got to.

You always seem to put so much energy in to doing the best you can for your family Gailey - I hope you all manage to have a good Christmas. And, as others have said, it's not what you spend, it is more to do with making the effort to enjoy things together as a family. Good luck to you!

Grrrr! just hoping i keep my sanity. Lack of sleep last night, being peed off at 11pm tonight. Hoping i can muster that last little bit of sanity and keep my gob shut until morning, but this usually calm and reserved one has a feisty side she likes to keep under control, and message boards are the worst place to be at the moment....want to rant about everything but wont xxxx

Hi everyone I woke up today with a banging head and thought f$ck it I am going to give it my best.

I've been through worse I was taken from my mum by ss at age 11 becose shed left my dad for another women and put in a kids home, got married at 16 to the most abusive man eva lived through that for 12 years finally had the last straw when he hit me for the last time and hit him back and he got me arrested, I finally got my head together and got rid of him. And met my wonderful dh my life has been brilliant since so I can get through this I just need someone to kick me up the !!!!.

I am going to ring docs and get a telephone consultation and get some stronger pain killers.

Right I am off to clean up the house is a tip

Morning everyone, raining here. And so damh cold. My car has changed overnight, not really!! my future son inlaw has swapped cars with me, hes takeing my car to get the mot done. He is taking it as after the last experience when i took a car to the garage he decided they were trying to rip me off. The car was failed on a light buld, rubber seal on the stearing and the exhaust hada small hole. The bill they wanted me to pay was £175, and they said the brakes need doing too on top.

Future son in law, he put a whole new exhaust system on the car (not the one bit they suggested) Rubber seal thingy, light bulb and all new brakes for under £100.

I think im one of the lucky ones, hes my extra child - i treat him the same as the girls as in he gets the same amount of gifts as them. If hes in trouble he always comes to me, thats usually when payday is still 2 days away and he has the magic red light on the dash board of his car.

Took mums coat back yesterday, they removed the forgotten security tag and i ended up buying a jumper for me - 20% discount so very happy.
Must get myself into gear, have to get dressed and then go to sainsbobs to do the shopping only going there as i have aquired a £6 off a £30 shop.

kidcat, many dentists are not qualified to do sedation, it has to be a special dentist. It requires quite a lot of extra post grad training

morning all HEAVENLEIGH rant away thats what we all here for to let off a bit off steam, JEM looks like your a lot happier after shaky start in life thats great always helps if oh is on same wave length xxx . just in from school run so much to do i dont want to start ,beds to strip and wash hoover etc boring !!!I WANT TO SIT WITH A PLATE OF AMERICAN PANCAKES WATCHING THE WIZARD OF OZ!!! but i cant so im away here to start cleaning. dont know when to start baking for christmas as cant freeze anything no room as ys invasion in my freezers wont let me. me and my big mouth yes ill make a yule log yes ill make mince pies wish i had kept it shut . anyway i off now promise take care all xx
