Our dogs are not just our dogs smiley, we have bonds and feelings for them like they are our very own flesh and blood. I'm really sorry to read that. Take solace that Bruno is at home, he's alright, he's recovering and he is with you. Thinking of you
  • Oh smileyt I'm so sorry to hear about Bruno, I hope he can make a good recovery. In the mean time give him (and yourself!) lots of love and affection. Our pets are like family to us so it is quite right that we are devastated when something happens to them. Take care.

Although I guess lots of the places I've been don't celebrate Christmas so that might have been difficult.

I have some from Dubai and one from Korea, but it was a challenge!

I reminded him of this the other day and now he is decided to look again the at "stiff' he could not part with then in the loft in the hope that come spring he will be able to car boot a lot of it and get some more money. Not a LBM but working on it!

Sooooooo - I guess I am the only one sniggering about the "stiff" in the attic :o :rotfl:

MY LBM came earlier today when I realised I have 3 weeks to get my Harris in gear and actually organise some christmas presents. We are going to Tenerife on Boxing Day so I also have to make sure we have everything we need for that too.

  • (((Hugs))) to the Dragon and Smilyt. Dragon i hope you get the results you want and Smilyt i hope Bruno makes a full recovery.
I have spent this afternoon very slowly tidying up the pigsty that is supposed to be my living room. It is halfway done and i WILL finish it tonight so the decorations can go up tomorow.
MArdatha they closed my local chip shop at end of september and the next nearest one only does french fry style that are limp and horrible. I think thye cook them twice or something but they are really foul.
Good news though. I have just successfully tormented my cousin and two of my children by eating a very yummy mint aero in front of them and refusing to share! A shame the bubbles from the can of coke i also had went up my nose and made me sneeze:o

Dragon - hugs to you, It's suspected that DH has early signs too so I know what you're going through x

Smiley - hugs for you and Bruno too - hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Didn't get my hair cut in the end as the hairdressers daughter has a vomiting bug, not something I want so have rescheduled for next week. I shall feel fat and frumpy for longer.

DD1 asked if I could crochet a character from a film her BF loves, she found one online but no (free) pattern, so I've had to play around and make it up as I go....it's proving tricky.

DH is back in bed, he got a new CPAP mask earlier in the week and it's not doing what it should so he's not sleeping well, either am I as I keep waking up when he stops breathing and panic. Think I might open a box of chocs and enjoy a christmassy film whilst he's still out for the count.

Oh Smiley how awful for you. Peace and quiet is what he needs and I know you will be running around after him when he is up on his feet.Big hugs, :grouphug:

Dragon:- My BiL has MS, he is Finnish and MS is prevalent in his home country. Research shows that people who live further north receive less Vit D because of shorter days and less sunlight. :(
Mar is right, start taking it now, it will not affect other medication you may be on. I'm fairly sure that Kittie knows more about Vit D and it's doses etc.
