  • KITTIE - Good luck with the hairstyle. It drives you absolutely demented while you are growing it out, but the end result is more than worth it. Cheers Lyn x.

ooh speaking of wedges Nuatha I meant to add sweet potato wedges I'm getting seriously addicted to them instead of normal potatoes..
Tescos had them on offer so I stocked up,par boiled them as wedges then rolled them in chilliflakes and oil, salt and pepper then froze in batches. They cook in around 20 mins from frozen so perfect for a quick tea :D

Katieowl thanks for that yes it's a hard one to call..I try to do my bit using the butchers etc but have to be sensible with regards to my budget.

You'd be welcome, though today's cooking is centred more on lemon angel cakes, vegan lemon curd, (and if the agar is in today's post, vegan lemon meringues) bite size victoria sandwiches and cheesecakes.
(I've taken a day off to play in the kitchen)

How about a nice big veggie lasagne or a macaroni cheese??

Yes I might do a big macaroni cheese and have a side salad (for grown ups, not kidding myself the children are going to eat it!) and some nice garlic bread or something.

Ooh yes, definitely something with dumplings! Will ask my sis if her boys eat vegetable stew. They aren't veggie, so could even do a meat stew and my sister something separate.
Alternatively we'll all come to yours and eat lovely lemony things.
