I don't think I want to know what a fluffing brush is. Please don't anyone tell my son or he'll probably want one.0

Oh :rotfl:, you found me out! Better make sure Mr C does not open his pressie in front of the neighbours!

I am now sitting with a lovely warming heat pad on but should probably think about moving to start making tea soon. .
Even if it is, the book is still worthwhile, you should be able to order it at the library. You'll be able to identify the stage your back is at and stop deterioration. I started with the odd ouch over the years, bulged a disc when I was about 26, which resolved pretty quick in the main, but I often felt a bit perilous, but then bulged 2 a few years ago and that was a biggie (couldn't move from the waist down), but now am 100% backwise. It's a revelation.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
Goodness, how I resonate with some of you.
Smiley: I was once given some chocolate to look after by my youngest. It was Milky Ways and he'd bought a packet of 5, eaten 2 and wanted me to guard the rest from his older brother. Of course I ate the 3 left, then had to buy another packet of 5 and eat 2 of them so he had the right number left.
Kittie: The Hair Dresser's Union have obviously sent out an edict that all hair must be cut as short as possible. Mine is cut by a friend every 6 weeks and she does jolly well with my thin, baby fine thinning, mousy/grey hair. Last time she went mad and cut it very, very short. It sticks up in little tufts all over my head and makes my fat face look even fatter. You've never seen such glamour.
Saving queen: Yeah! To go with my disastrous hair and matching face I also have tree-trunk legs and gave up any idea of wearing boots years ago. I shouldn't be surprised. My father's first words on seeing me were, "Oh dear. She'll never be able to wear silk stockings".
Katie: I know all about kid's partners. The lovely ones are discarded without a thought while the others are married.
I have one gorgeous DIL whom I adore and one who is decorative............. I turn myself inside out trying to treat every one fairly and not let my feelings show!
Don't want to bore anyone but I thought I'd just mention that the numbers turning up at our 'Open Arms' on a Sunday evening are breaking all records. I think it's going to get even worse. I had girls in tears saying how embarrassed they were, that they never imagined they would be in the position of having to go to food banks etc. Loads of duvets, sleeping bags and warm jackets also found grateful homes. The food bank cupboard was stripped. I want to take them all home with me.
That's it.
Night all

We have contents insurance with Natwest, think were about 400m or maybe a bit more from the river tees. Were surrounded by becks so our insurance is quite high, luckily our house is at the highest point of a hill.
Kidcat sorry about the bunny:(
savingqueen sounds like a fun party
Electric vs gas kettles, we have both. Got to admit the gas camping kettle we had was fab, and the water kept warm for ages. But the electric kettle is quicker to use.
Were going to see a house tomorrow for rent, my sisters landlord phoned us up and asked us if we wanted to view a house with him. He was chatting to my partner about houses, while my OH was carrying out a gas check. So never know could be a house on the cards for us if the area and rent is the right for us.
We pay about £120 a month gas and electric, it costs us a fortune to heat our house. Thats what we get for renting a victorian house.
Well i didn't get the steroid injections in my knees today as the doctor wants me to get checked over by the hospital again. so have to wait for now. But on the plus side i handed my forms the statement in to the learning centre.
Well the walking dead is calling me, yes i know i'm a nightmare but i love zombie films.0 -
I suit an elfin/pixie cut as I've got a small face. I went grey when I saw how good Jamie Lee Curtis looked in it0
