It is a delightful stove Byatt. You can always sprinkle sand on the floor nearby, get out the bikini and pretend you're in Australia with it if the winter does prove to be very mild!
Congratulations Fuddle! :j See, we told you so! I don't mind saying that when it's something good. I'm hoping the bits of good news coming through are a sign 2013 will be better for us all.Angel_Jenny wrote: »Quite tempted to try a Zumba class - really scared though as I am huge and unfit plus I can't dance at all! Got to the point where I hate how I look and try to avoid looking in the mirror at all. Have until Monday evening to work up the courage to go!!
I love zumba. Haven't done it in a while since I've been rough. Used to even take hubby. It doesn't matter how much of it you get right, just that you move to the music, have fun and get active.
I'm looking for a pair of sandals today, can't spend an entire Australian summer in closed in shoesLove to all xx

Aw it's not fair. It was his time to shine. I hope he makes a speedy recovery. I don't understand anything about thoroughbreds but I do know he is a lovely chap.0

Absolutely fantastic news Fuddle...so pleased for you all...what a relief....have been reading your posts for last few days with baited breath...now you can all relax and look forward to a lovely Christmas in your new home.. xxxxxByatt, my turn... You've had that for 2 years and never lit it!?
It's bloomin' lovely! :j Lucky you
My two love steamed carrots so that might be the way to go, cooking them separately. Maybe the carrots are too squishy for their pallet.
Erm, I have good newsWe're definitely moving on the 15th! :j:j Better still, we passed the credit check (DH had 1 refer but I suspected as one creditor still has a default marked on our file instead of marking it settled but they've said it's not at all a problem) so it feels good to have got it off our own back and not via a favour from the LL. I know it doesn't at all matter as we're moving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but it matters to me with the feelings of rebuilding.
Wow. Thank you for trying to keep my feet on the ground. I know it's been difficult.0 -

Thanks - we have a Home Bargains, will pop in on my way out in the morning0 -
Kidcat, shame you're not nearer - I have two pairs, one for each of the dogs. You could have borrowed a set .... :rotfl:
Fuddle, hurray!
Byatt, hurray!
Ginny, hurray for DGS shouting! (Hmmm, you may live to regret him finding shouty skills :rotfl:).
Mcculloch, you could try and speed Rummy's healing by using Reiki and looking into other alternative therapies as well as taking vet's advice. Would magnetic leg wraps help? Poor lad. I know you can't get near him because he's a biter, but give him a virtual kiss on his nose from me. I love horses, bitey or not.
Bruno bashed my neighbour's little girl last night with his tail .... she was delighted :rotfl:.... she loves him to bits and thought it was hilarious that he was whacking her with his waggy tail :rotfl:. She's known them since, well, since she was in her mummy's tummy and she has absolutely no fear of them but adores them and they love her.
I did well on Approved Foods last night. I have some friends who are very difficult to buy for and have very expensive tastes (think shopping at Selfridges etc ). Anyway, this year for Christmas they are getting an olive basket. One large block of olive soap (should have been £6.99) and two small tins of olive oil (should have been £14.99 for 250ml :eek::eek: it must be the ancient single malt whisky of olive oil) - so will cost just under £8 but worth £31. The oil is in date. I got one for another friend, plus some posh tea and lots of chocolate santas, which I'm hoping will arrive whole and not in pieces. All in all I got 12 presents for £40 which is not bad going. I got a couple of Robert Opie 'Dig for Victory' thermometers at £2.99 each for some gardening friends. I'm going to top these pressies up with hand-made mug hugs, sock owls and Christmas ornaments and folks will just have to accept that there ain't a lot of money to be splashing out with this year.
Oh yes, for those of you with kiddies (or even those of you without ....) - if you like Lidl on its facebook page you can print a voucher for a free chocolate advent calendar to be collected on 24th and 25th November, on a first come first served basis. I think you'll probably need to be there at opening time! One for the early birds.
Right, I'm off to bed. Sweet dreams xxx.Aspire not to have more but to be more.
