Need to go through previous posts more fully, offer support where needed...thanks for thoughts sent my way...I feel quite calm and I think Mrs Chip is right when she says "It will be fine" There is some comfort there I think. Nor is it morbid. I guess its a personal thing and we all react differently.

Its something new to me so I was not sure how I'd react but now seems the right time.

Better be ready to let the person in, they are due at Noon.

VJsMUM surely you are not advocating a KALE DIET for MAR??? many lovely vitamins and minerals in Kale, it's lovely and green, and chewy, and healthy and they sell it in up market health food shops covered in chocolate (well cocoa nibs!) after it has been freeze dried. Oh what a happy and healthy little bunny MAR will be, she will be so delighted at the prospect I'm certain she will have the right words of thanks for us both, Oh happy day, Cheers Lyn xxx.

just havinga sneaky cuppa before DH drops me at my friends as he wants to pop to town (I know he hasn't got me a card yet, always last minute!). he is working from home with a ton to do and trying to revise for exam tonight and really I want to say don't worry about a card but he will feel terrible if he doesn't.

Started the dreaded big cleanup. more you do, the more you see! What doesn't get done today will get done Sat, jsut don't want to wear myself out before our night out, going to get meself all dolled up for a romantic meal out :D.

:DHello Fuds - I am fine honest - posted earlier this very morn. I was a little worried I would upset you too. I am one for being open and discussing stuff, far healthier than bottling it up. That's why this forum is so great, we can say stuff (within reason obviously) and even if it'sa bit difficult, we all support each other still - you are brilliant at doing that fuddle. Actually have been a bit quiet lately on here (not usual essays) cos I'm so blimming busy with all the courses. Next week is a crazy one as boys hve sports week (not sports day!) and separate sessions to watch them. I have made a timetable so I can see them and do my courses and training! Stuff the house!

ooops off to put me lippy on and change out of sweaty housework gear for luncheon chez mon ami

I missed your post this morning SQ - been caught skimming :o

Fed up of avoiding supermarket marketing psychological tactics now. I wish I could afford my principles and boycott them all - truth is I can't afford to

Big lovely punnet of strawbs 700g for £3. Hey, not bad. Walked round the corner to find 2x 400g punnets for the same price. I have 100g extra strawbs in my fridge but still seething.

Looked high and low for offers on flour//rice/olive oil etc, you know everyday cooking ingredients that every person needs. Nothing. Plenty if I want crisps/biscuits/cola.

Just had a talk with my last relative on the phone. Caught up on things...Mum's home. I feel OK. Did shed a few tears after the person who called with them had gone.

Resting for now...had a couple of yogurts and a banana for lunch. Think I'll have a go at what I planned last night...baked beans, potatoes and a bacon and cheese turnover for tea.

Perhaps a salad late on...my cauli and broccali needs replacing(I didn't get it used unfortunately)I hate waste...

Gearing myself up to attempting baking again...found a recipe for bread that looks fool proof and requires little if any kneading. I may attempt a seeded loaf.

I was out late last night because the bus came into town from the concert and I was near Tesco's. I often find myself disbelieving that I am out that late when it happens. I think very differently as I walk in the early hours, my senses are much sharper.

I've been for my first week review at the doctors and found that the tablets can effect my driving  I didn't know this as last year I didn't have a car. Anyone experienced this who is on citalopram? I must say I haven't felt like they have effected me, a bit worried now though.

I have been referred for counseling. I was supposed to go last year but had to wait 12 weeks and in the end, chickened it. The issue with Mam is a whole other ball game now though and I think I need all the help I can get.

A bit scared at the noises the doctor was making towards the idea that I may need citalopram indefinitely

The girls know. I explained that my brain didn't receive the signals it was supposed to and the tablets helped fixed the connections. That doesn't make sense this time round though because I don't feel like the problem is me, more her. Hey ho. Feeling blergh but I'm quite alright.

Beef burgers in buns tonight :D Go on, I'll stick a slice of cheese on 'em too!

Fuddle I do hope the counselling is of help to you. I have had to go down that road too. Thing is my memory has been poor since last year, and can't retain stuff and at times the wrong word comes out. I was given 3 apps with a cpn and after a long wait was seen on Monday there with senior professionals. I am now waiting to have a CT scan and e e g to see if there is anything going on in the brain, as things are getting worse for me. Thank goodness for my dh who is so supportive, bless his heart.
I have had an awful lot of emotional pain since way back and that is why I mention this to you Fuddle. If there isn't anything wrong then counselling might be the way forward for me too. I thought I was coping but now I see I haven't been. Hope it goes well for you x Margaret
