Yes, it's the small stuff that finishes me off. :(

edit, I miss also having someone to hug me and say it will be alright. Not over the big things, but the little things, someone to make me a cuppa when I'm exhausted emotionally and physically, someone to acknowledge that although I'm a strong person and don't let people in, a hug (virtual or otherwise) will make it better.

Hi everyone :) Pops so pleased your friend was able to come to you that day the people came. Glad things are not so stressful for you now. Fuddle that is good about your washing machine. It is something that is sorely missed eh?
Hugs to anyone who could do with one.
We have sunshine and a little heat today. Bedding washed and on the line, plus second load almost ready to go outside.:) Have lots of ironing to be done later. Going to bake banana bread later too. Have a lovely weekend everyone, Margaretxx

Lyn thank you for the recipe. I have everything in (well 400g sausages that I will de-sausage) but not brown sauce... Splash of Worcester do instead?

Mardatha I too have arthritis in my left shoulder hips and neck. I feel bits are dropping off as I get older too. Just been told I have osteoporosis of the spine last week too. My medication box will have to be exchanged for a bigger one, at this rate:) Never mind at least the sun is here today and I walk around the garden and inhale the scent from the lilac on the tree and all is well for a while. Simple pleasures eh?

Do you have any other sauces like BBQ sauce? It might work just as well depending on the taste you like. A splash of worcs would be ok I should think, but as you say, just a splash because of it;s strong flavour.

    I usually add/take out/adapt a recipe depending what I have in.

What will the osteoporosis mean to you for the future, was it a shock?

My med box is getting bigger, my poor DD looks on in horror at the number of meds I have, I say to her that they may be a lot but it's what keeps me alive, so I would sooner take than not.

Hey FUDDLE worcester sauce would do or even ketchup if the kiddlers like that better, it's just to give it a bit of flavour. Even a spoonful of pickle or chutney will taste nice.

BYATT m'dear you're on the list for unlimited hugs whenever you feel low as well, I've sent whole flocks of them up into the ether over the past few days and I'm hoping that they find whoever needs them most. I'm sending you a whole flock of your own to put into the cloudbank, just as an insurance measure. I'm also always here for you if you need to unload or just say Aaaaaaaggghhhhhhhhh!!!!! and a PM will always get an answer, life is not easy these days but there's always a soppy great Lyn out there rooting for you all, Chin up chicken, Lyn xxx.

Oh dear Margaret sorry to hear of your aches and pains too...Its not just as we all get older cos a lot of younger people suffer with arthritis, Chris Beardshaw who I would say is about 34 to 36 yrs old said this week on the Chelsea Flower Show that he was diagnosed at a young age too........

Weather dont help us poor people with any joint condition..........Im type 1 diabetic on 4 insulin injections per day , and everytime I get a "new illness" my dr always say (,"well its because your type 1 diabetic" ), ive always got something wrong with me and it lasts forever and a day , that goes and then something else makes me ill, but I wont be beaten .....I just take more rest when needed and a few pain killers and hope for the best..........

Ive been doing my pond pump and UV light, its took couple hours but I enjoyed it, now hope it keeps the pond clear .....Doing a few odd jobs outside is nice, ive got a power socket of some sort so I can use my lap top in the summerhouse, so here I am............

Its still not that warm out here, theres no bees or butterflies about and ive got loads of flowers for them , suppose the dam year as put everything behind, soon be dam June ............Sheila

I saw Chris talking about it, he said his bones were rubbing each other at the joints where cartialage (?) is supposed to be. I did feel for him, especially as his job is as a gardener, such physcial work.

No bees or butterflies around here either, just watered my pots and have loads of flowers which should attract them.
