Only four teabags?:eek:I have many more here and coffee too. So there would always be a cuppa for anyone who visits. Also cake biscuits and sweets...;)
To be honest I also have quite a store of alcohol too, not that I am a big drinker or have a drink problem(that's hidden away in the pantry)where all my cereal is kept too.
I am also quite good at mixing cocktails but rarely have a reason to make them being on my own.
Thinking about my previous post about homes and what you are allowed to do. What about those who like to collect CD's/DVD's/books?
My main interests are watching TV, listening to music/radio, my computers, reading an odd book and cooking. So I don't create a lot of mess any how.
To save money I was thinking of making my own wine/beer again(not that I drink that much)but after their visit I'd probably think twice.

Nice one McCulloch, and Happy Birthday too
I have a friend who decided that washing up liquid would be fine to use when she'd run out of soap powder. It was like watching the magic porridge pot, but with bubbles instead of porridge. Don't ever even think about it.....0 -
Happy Birthday McCulloch
OH sat in a meting where they explained why they were getting rid of him, how low his scores were, how he wasnt the type of person they want. Then rather than just end it for him have said they will spend three months finding a suitable role in a different area of the business!!
He said it was clear they do not want to employ him but rather than just say here is what you are looking at, he is expected to sit in limbo for three months while they dance, not impressed!0 -
Not nice about the limbo hanging over his head kidcat.£71.93/ £180.000

Kidcat what a nightmare, certain businesses are like that they don't care about the feelings.
Sq the swimming lessons sound great.
Stiltwalker your holiudays sound great especially the digger :-)
Pops glsd you managed to get some adviceon what to do. To me its sounds like they nitpicking.
Fuddle its a nightmare its like that st our childrens school. End up feeling so guilty, one way I got out of the cereal thing was decanting cereal into clear containers so they couldn't tell the brand.
Happy birthday mcculloch!
Nice bike mar!!!0 -
I think the problem is boultdj that he has been there 16 years, judging by the payouts people who have been there less than 10yrs are getting he will cost them alot to be rid of. So if they can mess him about they are hoping he will walk out or take a job elsewhere to save the pay off.
I have said he should get the union rep back in there and say he wants a clear outline of all their options including what a redundancy payout would look like.
One of the others going has been paid in lieu of notice, the union expected OH to be the same, he wasnt though, and they have said he has to work the full three months notice.
As far as I was aware as he is paid weekly he is only required to give/receive one weeks notice so this doesnt ring true.0 -
Well came back from hospital and great news ds2 arms is healing very nicely, the bone hasn't moved so no further operations are needed:D
So he picked a red covering for his cast and going to school tomorrow!!!!!!!! Oh yes finally 30 minutes peace in the morning just for me I hope. Yes I'm evil but would be nice to have a cuppa without anyone asking me to do thing for them.
So school tomorrow, if ds2 can't handle then at he tried.
Pops went to farmers market on Saturday in saltburn, the butchers are pretty good even bought some raspberry wine. Hsvent opened it yet but the sample tasted great. There is a farmers market on Sunday at stewarts park middlesbrough. Think were going to go again, if its sunny going to take a picnic with us.0 -

So sad to hear of all the problems we're having all as bad or equal to each other when all anyone wants is health and happiness for their loved ones and enough to stay warm and pay the bills...the basics but essentials.
Oh they were very much nit picking. But those who know the situation have said "What are they doing with/going to do with those images that were taken?" How would one ever know?
The good news is that the sun has come out, still windy and cold though. Dare I say I have had a day off(still think I can get everything done in time for next week)going out tonight then nothing planned until Sunday night. That is just a small drink, game of bingo, a quiz and a turn:p
So I have a clear run at it.
I had half of a creamy chicken pie when I came in and just had the other half now with a cup a soup. So if I have anything else today I probably will ok with some yogurt and fruit.
May take something out in my rucksack then if I get hungry while I am out I can have something.
Had to laugh, I used to buy a lager at the music club, then thought I'd make do with a diet coke...but last evening I asjed if they did any bottled water...I was given a glass of tap water with ice and not charged:p:eek:Not that I'm a big spender but they won't make much of a profit doing that!"A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Great news about your son Kezlou...Had I not been at Tynemouth I could very well have been at the FM at Saltburn and I might've walked past you and never have known. I have to change buses at Darlington and Middlesborough(can take me nearly 3 hours to get there)Last time I arrived around midday.
I want to go to Stewarts Park but Sunday bus services are a nightmare. Never been to the Park in my life but they say its beautiful...may have to go during the week when I can leave my town earlier or come home later.
I understand I have to get a bus that goes via St. James Cook hospital. I am determined to visit the park and the FM at least once. I am told Stewart Park FM is one of the best. The other is said to be at Barnard Castle. That market is being held twice a month.
Its a little FM at Stockton at the start of each month(1st Sat)next to Aldi's but it has a lovely cake stall, butchers, fish monger and my friend who runs Gingerbread Mam.
She also does Stewart Park and many other events around the area and beyond. The good thing is that as it is on a staurday you can also go to the ordinary Stockton Market too.
But sometimes as markets and events clash they have two vans and attend more than one(I think her husband does one whilst she does the other)
Theres a lovely honey stall at Saltburn and there are some lovely stalls that do jam and marmalade as you know only too well.
I have some ginger wine to open yet from my friend;)"A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson
