'Tis ok 3D, using MB coffee cake one, its in one of the newspapers online. Thanks though!
Making chicken and veg pie soon, topped only with pastry though keep cals down. Not at all sure how to do it so need to investigate but I have to use confess that I intend on using chicken soup for the sauce. Sorry OSers. Bad fuddle!
Washing duvet cover this morning and ruined it. Was caught in the door and ripped going round and round. Managed to get asd4 one for £5.19 so half of what I was expecting.
Paid £1.30 for kitchen roll to clean windows. What did my grandmother do before mrmuscle and kitchen roll?
Got pack of 8 disco's for 95p in home barga1ns and some small pots so each DD can have half pack of crisps and not realise it
GQ I thought of you as I was in each of the stores today. I need to get with where each thing will be cheaper because you're so right, Asda was cheaper for some things than the 'cheap' shops.
Spent time in my application for this morning. Will write up neat to Morris and send off. Doing it via email to save cost.
Sitting down with DH tonight and really gettin to grips with the budget. Grandma used to say "don't spend a penny where a hapenny will do". In six weeks all I knew had gone out the window.. Not splurging or being throw away with money, no. More time saving foods and cleaning stuffs, floor wipes etc and now I find myself really annoyed at how I let my principles go for the sake of sitting on my behind early of an evening.
Fancy paying more for something just because 'in theory' it gets a crappy job done faster. That's marketing for you and I fell for it hook, line...
Edit: it's alright I remembered you told me once before vinegar and newspaper0 -
After noon toughies, just back from car boot sale. For 2 and a half hours work, I made £67 less £7 for the pitch so £60 and DD made £82. Its a big big help. Think we are going to be a bit more savvy and sell some more unused and wanted items.
It has been a lovely day, I got sunburnt too, first time this year. I have one read arm !!!

I got my account hacked a few weeks ago and only realised when a couple of my daughters phoned me to say I had been sending them spam.
Making beef and mushroom pies with mash and starting a lasagne for tomorrow as it might be a fraught day.
Picked up dd's bank card for her as bank had not changed address properly and did a quick bit of shopping.

Now 129 cases and 24 deaths in China but it looks as if notifications are weekly in some places. Recombinetics site has fascinating update and notes rumours that some hospitals are not admitting new patients as they can't cope.
Going to assemble pies and lasagne ready for baking later.
DH says next door neighbour has been smelling the aroma of cooking and asking him what it wasJust hope the taste is as good as the smell seems to be.

ELONA they said last week that the english language reports of confirmed numbers of flu victims would be put out only once each week so I suspect they are just not posting updates at the moment. We'll know all too soon if there is going to be a problem, but we'll just have to wait and see.
I had a successful visit to t'city this morning and have got my wedding outfit, it was a lovely experience as I found the nicest lady assistant I've ever met who said 'I'm not busy now, would you like some help?'and proceeded to put together combinations of clothes I'd never even have looked at. Genius, I have a smart black 3/4 length sleeve blazer with satin cuffs, a pair of pinky beige loose crepe trousers, a beautiful silky ivory and black top with a rose pattern on and a pair of oh so comfy black plaited leather sandles all from the same shop, job done and back home in time for lunch woohoo!!!!!
Had a lovely walk across the common and through the woods with the lurcher and his pal Charlie the retriever today, lovely and sunny and warm here and lots of things in flower and making everywhere smell delicious. It's so nice to see the woods greening up and hear the birdsong again and to be warm is frankly ambrosial, Cheers Lyn xxx.0 -
You wouldn't be able to post a linkie for that site by any chance, elona? I've tried a search engine and keep getting biotech companies............:rotfl:

well what a day - its been a total adventure and not a particularly good one.
We went out this morning to take 3 kids to school, DS9 is still off so I was taking him with me to sit in car, managed three drop offs and then came home to bake ready for tomorrows group and hang out the washing.
Put key in lock and it wouldnt open, tried again and not a movement, realised that the lock had broken and the deadlock had jammed down.
Spent a few minutes forming a plan and then had to start calling friends to see who had a ladder I could borrow. Found one picked it up and then had to come home again to try getting in. I knew DS14 hadnt locked his balcony door so was hopeful I could get in that way.
Ladder wasnt high enough to get me over the balcony, only reached to bottom and I just couldnt get myself over the top. SO had to load ladder back in car and then go sit and wait for DS14 to finish his morning place, we came back and he was able to get us in.
But it has meant the whole morning was gone and I have spent the afternoon trying to find a suitable replacement and been unsuccessful.
I am rather proud that at no point did I contemplate calling my parents and I did manage to get sorted without their help0 -

Help me out, what flu? Am I missing something?
Lyn so pleased you have your outfit and even more pleased that you like what you're wearing. I have today though that nobody will be looking at you're wearing because, having seen the aura that surrounds your smile, they will be too busy absorbing themselves in proud mummy vibes
Had girls and Alfie out down the ponds with DH . Bought them 49p frisbee today so aged with that. They put on a show of handstands. I of course showed them how good I was at handstands. I was feeling all proud of how verticle my legs went to come down to roaring of laughter.... no where near verticle apparently. Hey hum.
Got to go water the new grass (on a meter!!!!!) then chill out reading. Book I was given by my friend yesterday. A bit scared it will upset me but I'm assured its a fan gastric story so will try.
Till tomorrow x0 -
