Not if, as you deliberately ignored the part where the OP said, "Don't judge my early bottle opening, I work nights!"
I work nights too, not really an excuse to start boozing at 10 am.

He had a drink after he finished a shift at work. The time of day is irrelevant to that. Should he wait until 8PM this evening and have a few with his breakfast before he starts work ? Your argument is just totally wrong, I'm afraid.

Great find and post - many thanks. :j

    Just been and paid for:

    Ogio - £1.50 a bottle (x24) [headline price was £239.76, net cost £36...]
    VR Cabernet - £2.30 (x6)

and then went mad and bought some nicer stuff - Nottage Hill (3.75 x 6)

Can't recall buying wine at £1.50 a bottle for a long time. No idea what it tastes like, but at £9.99 full price it has to better than when I did last £1.50 for Lambrusco...

    It was 8am.

I finished my week this morning. So it's now my friday night. So sorry that bothers you Lynne.

Enjoy the wine deals people, hoping eklynnes local Tesco shuts for a refurb today so she has to buy Sainsburys overpriced plonk!!

I'm tipsy, whats your excuse for being a numpty?!?:rotfl:

just managed to get some of the Ogio wine, 24 bottles for £35 ish :j:j just be careful though its only the Ogio Merlot in the red and Ogio Chardonnay in the white (our store had the pinot grigio & the primitvo next door to the ones that were on the offer) - easy to pick up the wrong bottle - as I did!!! .

Luckily realised this before getting to the till as the other types are not on 3 for £12 offer

Thanks OP, got six bottles Ogio Chardonnay for £9.01 in total. They were £9.99 each originally. I did self checkout and the lady on the checkout had to authorise as alchol, but then ran off to get some fro herself. Bill shows 6 bottles at £9.99=£59.94, 3for 12 discount £35.94 and wine discount £14.99, total savings £50.93, Total to pay £9.01.
