Brrrrrrrr, frosty and bright here this morning, much nicer than all that wet stuff.

Catching up with UU's etc before the end of the month:-

Guinot Crème Extra Protection 5mlMBG (have more in stock given to me by beautician.

Gatineau Futur Plus eye cream 5mlWBA HG have full size in use

TA's Half tub of Lush Aqua Marina which had gor lost in bottom of a box - years old. WNBA as using anti-aging cleansers now. 2 part used bottles of tanning body lotion - donkeys years old.

GA's 3 bottles cleanser that came with Clarisonic - not willing to risk upsetting skin by trying these, I have repurposed a large tube of same as hand wash. Clynol Hair Wax - not suitable for present style.

I've got some really horrible spots at the moment on my nose, above my lip and on my chin. As well as being unsightly they are quite sore. I'm using Sudocrem when I'm at home but obviously wouldn't wear it when I am out. It does help to soothe the spots but they're not going anywhere. I'm really reluctant to buy any more products as nothing seems to help but I am really fed up. I can't use anything that will dry them out as my skin is very dry anyway

When my skin is having a bit of a fit I use Clean and Clear dual action moisturiser. I use it as a regular moisturiser twice a day, as a mask and as a treatment for individual spots (just dab a layer on and leave it). It makes a super smooth base for makeup and at the moment it is £3 in Asda or price matched in Sainsburys.

    Have a uu to report

Ren Clearcalm clay cleanser (I think that name is right) WBA, it is a lovely product, smells really nice and lasts a good long while. Have replaced it with half a bottle of Yarden Dead Sea face wash.

  • Morning everyone,

    I have 3 UU to report -

Avon Reversalist night moisturiser 15ml - WNBA mainly because it does not suit my face and it was part of a gift set I received. I ended up using it on my legs and feet (super dry things they are) and they didn't even like it!

Soap and Glory pore wipes(can't quite remember what they were called) - WNBA Eyes really hated these, sensitive little bunnies they are!

V05 Cond revive me daily - WBA loved this and it was cheap on offer, this even is so much better than my naturals cond by avon I may be converting very soon!

    Happy Thursday everyone :)

Hmmm - I've had an outbreak on the area around my nose & mouth. Thought for a minute I'd got impetigo!!!! I put a few drops of Tea Tree Oil in my skin freshener & I've been cleaning round the area with that - it seems to have done the trick & hasn't dried my skin out, just used moisuriser as usual afterwards
First UU to report - pot of Re'Gen cream.:j WBA when I've worked my way through all my other part used creams :)

Oh b****r, looks like I might need to be stocking up on LE products

google Liz Earle jobs and look at www. beauty mouth .com

looks as if the new corporate owners have flexed their muscles and bad changes on the way (just my personal opinion), wouldn't be surprised to see production coming from way out east, then likely no more bunny friendly products. already needing to re-source some of the lovely L'occitane goodies as they are now selling in China and will probably be forced to conform with the animal testing necessary there. I saw enought in the pet selling districts when I visited in 2010 to have any illusions that the lab animals would be well treated.

  • Thanks for the head up, maddiemay.

I really hope that Liz Earle don't go that route. I would definitely stop buying LE products if they started animal testing :(

Thanks Maddiemay - I hope they don't do it but they probably will. Why take something so successful then go against everything it stands for.

    I have ins today

Andrew Barton SOS Help Me twice weekly conditioner - this is only available at Asda for some weird reason and I made a special trip to get two pots, it's currently £3 and it is super lovely. I also bought the heat protection spray (£3 aswell) as I am getting some GHD's from Santa and will probably straighten my hair more when I get them so need to look after it a bit.

I've never seen a best before date on any of my products - although I am short sighted :D I thought they only started going 'off' once they were opened?

I always seem to get hand and body lotion left from the sets that come with hand wash. I have all these good intentions of using hand cream every time I wash my hands but it just doesn't happen.

Not many have actual best before dates (although I think Lush do with a lot of the products being 'fresh') but most have the 6/12/24 month etc symbols - although I've definitely used things outside of these without problems. I have had things go off though without ever having opened them i.e. separated, gone watery or gunky :o

Two UU for me to finish off the month I think - Asquith & Somerset all over moisturiser - WNBA - I must admit there was still about a third left of this 50ml pot but I couldn't persevere any longer, it was very watery and horribly sickly and over scented. Most unpleasant!

Morrisons Shower Creme in White Orchid - so impressed with this, really nice fragrance, total bargain at around 60 or 70p for 400ml which lasted around a month. Nice packaging which doesn't look like a saver/basics brand. Will definitely pick another one of these up when I'm in there next.

Maybelline freebie foundation arrived today - I'm not sure if they've just sent me whatever they had but I've got 135 Creamy Natural when looking at the card I'd say I'm more a 125. Having said that although the tube looked much too dark, trying it on the back of my wrist, it seemed ok so may give it a try soon.

No splutterers set to go within the next day or so I don't think and no planned IN for tomorrow so totals for the month are 21 UU and 13 IN - quite pleased as all of the IN were either necessary or freebies. Going to Cheshire Oaks on Sunday Christmas shopping so that'll be a bit of a test with TBS, Molten Brown etc....

Heating broke last night and car failed its MOT this morning so I think I deserve a treat, I just can't afford one! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Olay 3 Point Treatment Cream, 7ml - WNBA, nothing special
    Total debts = [STRIKE]£3116[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]2216[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£2066[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1916[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1766[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1616[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1466[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1316[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1166[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1016[/STRIKE]£866

Total paid off so far £2150 :D

My last UU for November is Balance Me face wash. I got over the face I didn't like the smell because my skin loves it. I have already bought replacements (2 in fact due to over zealous ebaying!).
