Well OpenOffice works fine.. I've got Avast antivirus which is also absolutely fine with vista. I'm using the built in firewall at the moment as I haven't got around to downloading anything else.. It seems fine. I've got fed up of zone alarm lately (which I used to use religiously) because it just seems to slow everything down.

I've also got some smaller free apps like wordweb (dictionary and thesaurus) and GAIM and both work fine in vista. :)

I use firefox too which is obviously fine! :)

Really haven't had a problem at all - I tend to go for opensource where ever possible.

Good point. I had forgot all about them until i just read here. I think at the time i was quoted 28days and im not sure exactly how long it is weve had our system now. Must be getting somewhere near that though.

I will leave it the 28 days then give another week on top then ring again if i havent got them. (Thats if i remember!!!)
