So when you went with HN, which option did you choose? We're undecided whether to take the All in One (£795 plus VAT) or just one of their 3 normal options...

So far, we have been happy with them, and have decided to use them again for buying our next house. I have found them efficient and easy to contact.

Thanks WallyBird, another happy customer then :)

We did the cheapest up front - just because we thought they would try harder- but I dont think it makes any difference really we were also unsure of it working.

Thanks SheppyD! Well, there seems to be some price difference though, if you pay upfront cheapest and you can't sell after the contract period, then you don't have to pay the rest, right?

Yes- you only pay the balance if the house sells

We did the all in one, because it was cheapest and we definitely wanted to sell. But other options are more flexible.

We have just exchanged contracts - so far, so good - completing soon. I have been very happy with HN's estate agency and conveyancing services. Our buyer wanted to move in quickly and the conveyancers did it all very efficiently.

    Hi,

Right we've taken the plunge and have gone with Housenetwork.
Decided on the all in one package but managed to knock off the price for the board and fast track build as I don't want a board and have no need to have it on the market the same day, can easily wait an extra day or two.

First impressions have been realy good and proffesional, first contact was via a webchat to ask a few questions and book an appointment for someone to call at an convienient time for me to buy the all in one package.

They called today exactly when i had wished and went through the package discounting what i did not require and have now booked for the agent to call next Friday bright and early to do the HIP (slightly annoyed about this as they will soon be gotten rid of!!!), and video/photo's.

I had asked for an offer regarding the conveyancing and promptly received their offer which was £348 plus vat for a Freehold property (add £125 plus vat for Leasehold).

So all in all the start has been a good and courteous and proffesional experiance.

Many thanks to everyone on this thread for their coments and experiances, advice etc it has helped me to come to this decision.

    Cheers now

Sorry to hijack the thread a bit, but have a Q re housenetwork - veiwed a house through them last night (Vendor was a no-show, and tenant had no idea i was coming, but that wasnt HN's fault obviously)

How have people found buying through them, generally? I can see the advantages from a sellers POV, but is it likely to add any (extra!) issues for buyers? Cheers!
