You'd think so since they were flogging them for £60 the other day

We find the most efficient home delivery service for food to be Sainsbury's. We didn't have a very good experience with Tesco either.

Sainsburys give one hour slots and a ten pound voucher if they re late - cant say fairer than that !

Personally found Tescos deliveries to be abysmal - not so much the actual drivers who are generally OK and turn up approximately the right time, but more the stuff that gets picked for me. My local depot employs a !!!!!! chimpanzee on a blue card cultural exchange from Colchester Zoo to pick and pack all home deliveries - hence most of my stuff has to be either eaten the night it arrives as the dates are so short, or the food itself is pretty poor - browning salad, meat going a bit off colour etc.
I do always call and they refund it back onto your card, but its still annoying. Last time they delivered I was missing a whole bag of veg - but I DID have a packet of nappy sacks (opened). As I dont have a child, I called them and asked for my veg, offering the sacks back, but they told me to keep the sacks for my dog (which I also dont have). This is the twilight world I live in.
Try Sainsburys - much better in my opinion!

Tesco once delivered all of my shopping, and also left 3 bags of someone elses shopping which was not collected from me for 2 days despite 3 telephone calls asking them to get their act together!!

The drivers that we have in the past have had Sat Navs but where we live in the countryside they arent much good as they send them down a narrow road in the opposite direction to our house - we can see them. We end up with special instructions - do not follow sat nav or you will go wrong! Saying that most drivers know the area as its a rural one

I used them once and it was a disaster. Half the items we ordered were replaced with 'similar' as they were out of stock. At that time we were in a first floor flat on a narrow street, so suprise suprise we ended up lugging it all up ourselves. Having said that, I do shoot steam from my ears when I'm held up on a road for someone else having a delivery! Just jealousy mainly :)

My in-laws ordered from Tescos and even received regular sausages as a replacement for vegetarian ones!
