NSD #13 for me today
Determined to reach the magic 25. Must admit, its starting to get harder now though0 -
Evening all, just popping in to say hello and dish out hugs and good wishes where needed.
Been out with DM today as it was her b'day. Think she loves her ipad (although is prob a bit scared of it atm) but need to get her internet sorted now (as it needs her DD details I couldn't really do that beforehand) - I can see I'm going to have to draw on all my patience showing her how to use it though (something I'm not very good at). Spent a lovely afternoon shopping, she got some xmas gifts sorted (is always rushing around at the last min for stuff so thought this would be a good way to get her started early) and I bought, errr..boots, jeans and a jumper for me
:o and a couple of little xmas bits. Did take a pile of stuff back though so kind of covers what i purchased...almost.
Also went the flicks last night and nearly fainted when OH wanted pick n mix :eek: if only i'd had pre-warning to go to the £ shop. However, saw Skyfall which was (almost) worth the small mortgage spent on sweetsFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Arrrrggghhhhh:o It's not even 9:30 and I'm tempted already!
Popped into a neighbours for a cuppa yesterday (was lovely to get out the house for an hour) and saw that she had a neat little storage tower thing in the useless / wasted space / just built for stuff accumulating in itgap under the stairs ........ and, since her house is identical to mine;) thought "ahhhhh why have I never thought of that?" (especially as I actually have one of these in the downstairs loo!:o)
So ... hunted around and have found the perfect one - but it's £25 (delivered) ..... def not a needbut the thought of having that space (that has been the blight of my life for 6 years) nice & tidy & having extra storage space for the dog towels etc ...... ohhhhhh *sigh*.
I sold some cat food on a pet forum and the buyer's paid for it today so (even after booking & paying for the courier to send it) there's money sitting in my pay*pal account (not quite enough to cover it but nearly) ........ but it should really be going back to the cats fund as the food was originally bought from that ..... *sigh*
Not sure if I'll manage to resistGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!0 -
Rising from the ashes- just think, you have put up with that space for 6 years, another couple of weeks wont hurt0
-
The parcel never did turn up! So lord knows what it's doing! Hope it comes tomorrow!
Not a NSD for me today, as needed petrol because I was virtually running on fumes. I only have a little 1.2ltr Ford Ka, but still £40 to fill. Wasn't that when I bought the car 4 years ago. Could have filled the tank for just over £30.
Snapped up some good deals in Tesco, including some YS pizzas, which will be a nice treat later (was thinking only yesterday how a pizza would be nice, but had none in the house).
Really pleased to find value xmas wrapping paper in stock finally! AND cheaper than last year! 14p a roll. Snapped up 3, which should be enough, as I still have a bit left from last year.Because it's fun to have money!
