  • Just one more NSD over the weekend putting me up to NSD6. Should be another one today but I'll not jump the gun.

This is the worst month for me to try this challenge; both my girls have birthdays at the end of the month, the in-laws come to visit for their party, I do all my Christmas shopping, it was our tenth wedding anniversary Friday, and all the end of year Christmas parties have started. So I feel not too bad about my lowly 6!

    Hello to:

rising - my view would be.... if that space has been bothering you for the past 6 years and you’ve found something to stop it bothering you, then go for it. Look at the money you’ve saved by stopping smoking.... getting something that really helps you might just give you the inspiration to keep going with the non-smoking. Just a thought, and I’m really not trying to encourage you to spend, honestly:o

flubberyzing - oh dear, sorry you’re having problems with a missing parcel, fingers crossed it arrives tomorrow.
I’m with you on the petrol front, I nearly died the last time I filled up my little Clio, I really wasn’t intending to buy the bloomin’ petrol station:eek:
Yay to the Tatco bargains... that place has to be useful for something

If - love today’s pic... keep away from children full stop would be my motto:rotfl:

shannys_taxi_driver - woohoo to finishing your C shopping, that’s brilliant, and I hope you and your new freezer have a long and happy relationship together ;)
Fingers crossed for lots more NSDs from now on... after all, no excuses for buying presents now :)

Day 38 today:j (still have my moments when I'd kill for one:o, but it is getting a bit better:))

I haven't been putting the saved money aside because a) I always bought them on the cc (paid in full each month) b) they were never accounted for in my SOA:o and c) I really want this pesky OD gone so would rather the money stayed in the bank until then ...... but I have been feeling a little errrrrr not quite sure how to put it but a mix of sad / annoyed etc that I can't save this money up for something special - so a wee treat now & then certainly wouldn't go amiss!:D
