I am going to have to spend tomorrow and that will be my last spend day this month GULP and double GULP.
I am safely home from work early today as I started early. So no chance of spending today.
I have already made the money on Fleabay that I spent on my new to me coat so am feeling a little happy dance coming on. :j:j
Was worth all the listing yesterday. Hope you are all having a great day.
Solventsoon day 39 as a non smoker that is sooooo impressive you must be very pleased with yourself. I think its very dedicated that you are putting all the money towards payments

NSD 6 for me, really pleased as I was away last week and thought I would go mad spending but I managed to keep away from buying things 'want not need' kept going round in my head so only essentials bought, anyway back to NSD now so should hit my target and hopefully go over!!!

  • Going to come in early and declare today as NSD9!

Will have to get a bit of a shimmy on though, if I want to get to 15 by the end of the month... Not sure that's going to happen!

Good news though, the parcel I was expecting on Saturday turned up shortly after 12. And this morning I received an email that a DVD I pre-ordered should be with me today, sometime between 7am and 7pm.

Afternoon all - calling in to report to more NSd's captured on Saturday & Sunday :j:j so thats 10 NSD's
Thought I'd bag another one today but DH sold a motorbike bit on eBay & I had to go out to find a carton big enough to pack it in - no joy at the major supermarkets or Wickes but found a lovely lady in the pet shop who told me to help myself anytime!! Tried one of the CS on the offchance & bought 15 pieces of Denby (matches what I've already got for a fiver!!! Might not have been NSD but was certainly MSE :rotfl::rotfl:

  • And this morning I received an email that a DVD I pre-ordered should be with me today, sometime between 7am and 7pm.

    I'm REALLY :mad::mad:!

Just after writing this, got an email to say they'd "attempted delivery" and failed. Ummm... NO. I've not left the flat ALL DAY. And they can't pull the "buzzer didn't work" ploy, because it worked perfectly well for ParcelForce this morning! They didn't come anywhere near here!

Amazon are all "oh, they'll attempt delivery again tomorrow", but what if I'm called for Supply teaching? I'm not missing out on £90+ for the sake of a £13 DVD.
Or, lucky me! I can drive 25 minutes to Milton Keynes to pick up the parcel myself, but the driver didn't leave the vital "delivery notification card", so that might prove difficult.

I'll admit, if your sat-nav isn't too up to date, the block I live in can be hard to find, but to lie about it really makes me mad.

Have offered to put signs up telling the delivery man to put the DVD through the letter box, if I get called to work. We'll wait and see what Amazon say to that.

So annoyed, as have NEVER had trouble with Amazon when they use Royal Mail, but for some reason, the first experience I have with some random courier firm they've decided to use, it all goes tits-up.:mad:

NSD 13 claimed for today. Went to the gym with DD then walked around Sainsbobs. Escaped from there without buying anything. I have come to really dislike that place. All their so-called bargains that I can get a lot cheaper just by walking round the corner. Thank goodness for Ald!.

Hugs to all who need one.
