  • Gosh, this is much harder than I thought it would be. I've been so organised about bringing lunch to work and snacks out for the kids on my days at home with them, but there's always bloody something, isn't there? I haven't spent a cent on myself in the past week, but yesterday was grocery day, the day before I had to go buy DD some hair nets and clips and things for a ballet recital she had coming up, the day before that we were out of bread and somehow I'm always the one sent to the shops...

So I'm checking in only to say nothing to report! Still only at 2. Hopefully today should be a NSD but it is yet young.

Awwww I certainly think that this challenge is easier with no children, there are always comments about school trips, uniform mis-haps and little essentials for the wee ones on here. God knows how i'll cope when i've got them :rotfl:
    Spent already ..... I've been out!:j

Honestly, just a very quick trip as had to pick up a prescription from the chemist - stopped at the co*op on the way back & managed to get a YS chicken (will be going in the oven in a sec!) and some trashy mags :o

Feels good .... but need a lie down

Yaaaaay, are you feeling better? Hope the trashy mags helped, such a guilty pleasure of mine :D And I loved the pic of Masie btw
BOOM BOOM SHAKE SHAKE THE ROOM!

    NSD 4! CAN I GET AN AMEN?!:rotfl:

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMEN! :T

Just stopped myself buying something SO nice on ebay, Must.....not....spend!! My hatches are still fairly battened down :), I can declare another #2 NSDs :j

    NSD #10 bagged yesterday. :j

All the kitty stories made me go  I am glad my dogs don't bring live things into the house, I think I'd have a fit. I have a bird (or anything that flaps) phobia  My wimpy pair are only up to bringing in sticks and muddy paws

    Have a great day everyone.

Ahhhhh thanks Freeby - it's not easy . I've been wanting to give up for years but never quite managed it (bit the same as you!)

It wasn't planned - just before I was admitted to hospital I literally couldn't stomach them (guess that should've told me how unwell I was :o as, like most, I usually manage to smoke even if I have a terrible lurgi) - I guess if there's one good thing to have come out of being unwell .... that's it.

Really hope I can keep it up tho! Hoping keeping a note of the saved money will do it!;)
