Mine does the same sometimes.
I just unplug it for 5 mins and try again. Usually works.0 -
You may need to press the reset button on the router.
If that all fails, ring Sky and they will talk you through it.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Done all this and still no luck0

Hi there,
You have one of two problems, a line fault or a fault in your property. It doesn't look like it's anything to do with your equipment as your router was not affected by a reset and is showing the connection as non-existent, correctly.
Firstly, can I ask you to upload a picture of the telephone socket that the router is directly connected to? This will help me determine which troubleshooting path to take.
Thanks,

My @ sign is a solid amber on the router?0

Thanks for replying,
I realise the state of your '@' light, as I read your opening post.
Please can you upload a picture of the telephone socket that your router is plugged into, so I know what advice to give.

Do you want a pic of the master socket screwed open or shut?0

Glad you ask,
If you have a socket than can have the faceplate unscrewed from it, please skip uploading the picture and do so. Then, plug your router into the socket revealed (which is called the test socket). After this, reset your router again and see if you get a connection. If not, reply back and I'll try to assist you further.

I cant reset the router as the reset button is a tiny wee hole and it won't let me press anything inside it and I've tried a pin and everything but no luck..0

Ok,
As you're having no luck resetting the router, try plugging it into the test socket and turning it off for 30 seconds, then on again. See if this restores your connection. Any further help needed, please reply as always.
Thanks,
