    These look brilliant :T

Can I ask were the lids plain? I buy lots of things in jars and I'm wondering how to decorate lids with branding etc on them.

    :j

If I remember rightly they are plain white. I got them in Tescos. They were 22p each.

If you have lids with writing on, glue a circle of patterned card on it before covering it with the decorative paper/material .

I have also done this and it works well.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas just like the ones we used to know but in case this doesn't happen here's a pot of snow.

I`ll be making these again this year, I love the way you can display a simple bag of sweets so differently

If you want a memorable jar, the sweetie jars on sale at House of Fraser (£3.50 ea for the "small" ones - sorry, not really Low Cost) are dressing table worthy. (Link with photo on Grabbit.) And you can pay with the Capital Bonds that Givaudan send out.

    Personalised coffee cups

I made these today and they work out so cheap for little effort, was thinking of putting snowman soup in or shall I just leave them separate?

Susan - those cups are lovely, they'd be nice with or without coffee. They'd also look good with a sachet of hot chocolate..? xx

I like your blog Pateroo , sometimes the jibber jabber is great. I think mine sometimes is too formal. I noticed you talking about scheduled blogging . Does it mean you can make posts and save them for posting later or even schedule them for posting later? Bit like fleabay ?

This would be handy if you could
