They rang me back last week to tell me they'd made me an appt for tomorrow at Toni & Guy in Sunderland. I asked if I'd get anything confirming this in the post and they said no! Apparently it's all been arranged and I just have to turn up at the salon at the right time. I'm a bit nervous as this is not how the promotion was supposed to work according to the T&C and it seems everyone else is being sent vouchers and arranging their own appts. I don't even particularly need a haircut right now but I didn't get any choice, besides specifying that it had to be an evening or weekend appt.
I'm going to make sure they know I won't be paying before I let them do anything to my hair! I can't afford Toni & Guy...0 -
I got my free haircut.
Very pleased - it's restored my faith in freebies!
Good luck to everyone else who is still trying to get their vouchers.0 -
Following my last post, I rang up the landline number several times and left 2 messages on their answerphone complaining that I hadn't received my Herbal Essences voucher. About 3 days later I got a phone call from a different lady apologising on behalf of Herbal Essences and asking which city I lived in so she could find a salon. (They should have already known where I lived, so perhaps they lost my form?) I told her some suitable dates and times and she then rang back to say she'd booked me an appointment at Tony and Guy's, and paid over the phone with a credit card! I was a little suspicious since this wasn't how the promotion should have worked, so I rang up and confirmed my appointment. Everything was fine, and I got a £35 cut and blow dry for free! :j0

Hi, I was so fed up with this offer.
I originally applied in March, I rang the above person last wednesday to express by disappointment & finally had my free haircut today.
She sorted it & made an appointment for me at a local salon (Headlines in Huddersfield) & paid by credit card for me, apparantly this is now the system they use.
My mum had the same problem & her appointment is now Wednesday next week (Cordelias in Hipperholme).
This is the person to speak to to get results. :j0 -
Almost exactly the same circumstances except that they 'lost' mine, claimed to have never received it and are now promising to call about my daughter's within 10 days! Let's wait & see (as i have been since May when the forms were sent!).
It took 7 weeks for my 1st voucher to arrive - it was for my daughter and they had sent it to her for a gents' hairdressers! Her name is Melissa which doesn't souind very male, lol, - and no, its not one of those gents place that do women as well.
Anyway I phoned, and left a message and they phoned me back quite quickly which was good. But they can't find any trace of my own application
although they have promised to sort out the problem with my daughters'.
Still hoping.....

Sixty Bob Barbers do Gents Cuts at £3.50 and Ladies Trims £4.50. Pre-school Kids and OAP are cheaper! They do a great job, very professional and good atmosphere. If your in the area give them a try ...its well worth it.
There is a Sixty Bob Barbers in Stockport and Ashton-under-Lyne.
